so i'm reading a lot of negative stuff here about Northern Transcriptionworks.. well for those who really want info about the company, no offense to earlier posters, but what they've written are not actually all true..

i'm not saying that what they had experienced or heard are lies, it's just that maybe they had a different perspective to what had happened to them or what they have heard.. the company has its weaknesses, true, but definitely has a lot of strengths as well...

well anyway, if there are still some who are interested for information, i could give you some..

I was reading past posts from various people and it seems as if some people didn't understand the whole thing about the training without pay. For one thing, I don't think they even bothered to clarify anything when the person conducting the orientation asked, any questions or clarifications?
I went through the orientation and I quickly understood na wla jud pay ang training, unya naa lng ka performance bonus of 4k, or depending on your performance during training. They also mentioned the basic salary, but it can go as high as ..... depending on your performance as well.. so in short, i don't think the company is to be blamed if the person himself or herself couldn't understand the basics that were discussed.
Training without pay is not that bad, even if you didn't pass... Think of it this way: it adds to your skills, enhances your knowledge, etc... You've got to remember no company is perfect, it's the way you handle things that counts.. Besides, if you really listened to the orientation, then you know what you wanted in the first place.. to sign or not to sign the contract.. You had a choice, dba? If you signed up knowing that, oh sh!t this is going to be a lousy thing, then you already know what you're getting into... Naturally, there's no one to blame but yourself...
I'm not only talking about NTW, I'm referring to every company you applied to... That's why they give you time to read the contract, go through it.. that's why during job orientations, they always ask: any questions or clarifications?
Come on, peeps.. let's be mature enough to deal with our decisions in the first place.. After all, we're applying to companies because we're mature enough to deal with work related stress right? Welcome to the real world guys =)

lol....i think you're drunk saying those things xD...so many people resigned there....dako kau ilang turn-over rate sa employees....i think you already got the bigger picture of what's been goin on with that lousy company....don't tell me wala nakabalo ang mga employees mubasa...para mo nman ininsulto yung mga taong nag resign ....a friend of mine used to work there pero wala sya nadugay kay bati ang management....wala nman problema sa work load but yung management really sucks....lastly....nalipong guru ka about sa comment nimo...tsk tsk tsk....and besides nabasahan nako iya contract pero walay naka indicate na the basic salary will go up, pasabot tingali nimo incentives, dili mana imo basic salary bai, daghan gani kuno cya kauban diha na dugay na same ra ang basic salary. besides bai dili man employado ra ang makinabang sa training pati man ang company, nya bai negosyo ni ato. walay libre sa negosyo dapat mo bayad mo sa oras sa empleyado, I agree no company is perfect but there is always a room for improvement and ingon sa ako amiga nga below minimum jud ang ila basic, kay ang basic sa region 7 is 8k naman nya wala man cla katongtong sa 8k, ni saka lang gani gamay ila pay tungod sa benefits, nya pati benefits dedakan daw. which dili na nato na matawag benefits if naa deduction, ambot lang sad ha. nya bai empleyado man tingali ka, kabalo man tingali ka na ang contract pabor jud na sa companya. Nya bai ang oras sa empleyado dili na libre ha. basin makaingon sad ang company na abi kay ang tao nanginahanglan og trabaho ila na abosohan ang oras sa tao. sakto ka welcome to the real world jud kay sa real world ang mga negosyo dili mag involve og emotions, business is business..and I think I want to keep an employee rather than to let them go specially naka adapt na sila sa company the specs and all samot na kato mga naning kay asset na sila, instead na cge mo hire og bag-o which is costly sa budget og sa oras kay kinahanglan pa mo adapt ang empleyado compara sa karaan. people are mature enough naman sad tingali to sign da contract coz they badly needed work bahala na lousy kumbaga kapit patalim ang uban pero that does not mean immature sila, they know the contract but they have no choice, and I think they also have the right to criticize, because sa criticism nila mahibal-an kung asa ka sayop or sakto.
