i hope there would be cha2x after the election.
    federalism FTW!

Patabang nalang ta sa Britain, U.S. and China... Maybe we should branch off the country into 4 federal states.... 1 is NCR 2 is Luzon 3 Visayas and 4 Mindanao

Turn NCR into a highly urbanized country like Japan. While Northen Luzon will be used as a Northern agricultural zone, export processing zone and shipping hub like singapore.

Turn the Visayas and Palawan into a tourism / adventure hub for Asia similar to Hawaii , Maldives and Bahamas. Development should be hollywood style... no tall buildings and over crowded city centers. Let cruise ship companies like Carnival operate in the region to tour people all over the islands. People all over the world will want to come to the Visayas... more jobs, more business opportunities.. more stores.. more development...

To solve the situation in Mindanao, we can section off islands like Basilan, Jolo, Tawi-tawi as military bases / ports for the U.S... where Philippine military will be trained. This way, with the U.S. watching.. lesser instances of collusion between the Phil Military and the rebels.

The rest of Mindanao can be a Southern agricultural zone, export processing zone and shipping hub...similar to Northern Luzon.

I suggest 2 Agricultural, export processing and shipping hubs..because in the event of a calamity in the northern or southern part of the country, we still have backup production for the country's economy to continue. The chances of a calamity striking both luzon and mindanao is rare.... while visayas (cebu, bohol ) is mostly isolated from super typhoons due to it being in the middle part of the region.

We have to make China our close trading partner while the U.S. has a base in the country so we are safe from conflict.

So .. how about it? 2 agriculture, export and shipping hubs with a tourism buffer zone in the middle.. and a military base at the southern tip...

    =)

one disavantage of federalism that i know is kanang mga provinces sa philippines that are poor would suffer more bec. thier budget would not support them. they need help sa katong mas dato nga provinces like cebu.

i am for parliamentary bec. i want to abolish the SENATE.!! alay gamit!!!!!
Mao ba? Pro-charter change diay ning Gibo? Basin inig ka-presidente malimtan lang ang charter change. Mas maayo jud maunlod ning manila para complete change gyud kay wala na koy bilib aning taga-manila! I am for complete change! by separation of the islands from manila.

IN ORDER for you to know more about NATIONALISM, you have to dig deeper other variety of contemporary contribution of SOCIALISTS and COMMUNISTS..Hence you are involving and embracing the thoughts of Lenin, the Marcisms.
