hi there!!! I work before for hp technical support. Ang akong masulti ana sa imong problem kay kung maka experience ka ug mga paper jam, nya ingon pa gyud ka nga dili permi gamiton nimo ang printer, basin ug hugaw na ang rollers sa printer
t/s steps:
Paper Jam issue:
1. unplug the printer adapter
2. open the back access door of the printer
3. Get a lint free cloth moistened with alcohol or a distilled water
4. clean the rollers of the printer
No reaction after you press print:
1. try to check in your control panel> printers and faxes if the printer icon says online and theres a check mark on the icon (meaning it is set as the default printer)
2.double check if there are no printer job stuck in the printer queue. If there are any print jobs stuck on the queue try to cancel them all: right click on the printer icon, select cancel all documents
3.try printing again after you cleared all jobs on queue.
4.if the icon says printer error sometimes you need to restart your computer
5. after restart, still it says printer error, you may need to reinstall the sofware as well the drivers
Note: if you encountered any problems during reinstalling the software, usually when was working with hp we do usually do remote access with the customer because we need to check the registries and do full clean up process
for now i can teach you how to do the 3 basic types of clean up processes
there is what we called level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4 clean up process
you can access these files by browsing the cd of the printer
Steps:
1. Insert Software installation cd of the printer
2. Browse the cd
3.go to the Util folder
4.go to the ccc folder
5. there you can see the clean up processes
it will says example "uninstall_L1.bat, uninstall_L2.bat and so on..."
after these steps try reinstalling the sw
Note: If you are using an hp computer do not perform Level 4 Clean up...
With issue sa pop up: usually if you installed the sw and driver correctly and after it is successfully installed it will ask you for an online registration and you may just answer "don't remind me again"
but if the pop up keeps poping out everytime you turn on your computer. I can say that the software is not installed correctly or there are corrupt hp files on your computer system
