"most people?" u mean the adults?!what about the minors who for themselves could not discern and examine whether or not the song/s they are listening to is/are right or wrong?
There is however the separation of church and state. .This doctrine like many others have its exceptions also. .if the church will not provide the standards that our community needs, and the our government will only be playing deaf and rendering itself numb to the present controversies, this will cause havoc, chaos and the derogation of our morale. .
playing songs that suggests *** would be spreading plague among our youth. .it is lamentable to think that people nowadays are so irresponsible and insensitive to the development of the well-being of our children. .
We are not exempt from the spread of immorality, but if it can be mitigated through means that do not intrude the rights of others, then let the same be done. .and let it be done now!!
i don't think that other religions are amenable to the spread of a virus that will slowly kill the teachings of morality they instill in the minds of their devotees.
@ hotstart.... They are talking about BANNING not restricting (ie watershed). That is like removing the Venus De Milo from an art exhibition in just in case it corrupts somebody. If a parent cares so much about what their kids see or hear then how about exercising some parental guidance? If you don't like (for whatever reason) what you are hearing the solution is simple... switch channels.
If you find broadcasts on radio undesirable, you can always switch to another station or simply turn the radio off.
It is still up to the parents that will guide the children...gara2 pd ning politikoha...
this is ridiculous. so they will ban songs like 'i kissed a girl' or 'you're so gay' by katy perry, songs based on the artist's satire, just because of it's perceived immoral content?
unsa man ang sunod i-ban? beer commercials because they imply that drinking beer is cool? or how about the condom commercials because they might be perceived as implying that having s*x is fun?
they're probably gonna ban sexually suggestive humor next.
