^ thanks.. im just paranoid.. few months ago nadaotan man gud ko og hdd..mau nlng naa ning hdd nko nka back up majority of the files... currently, this hdd has the only copy of 20gbs of files man gud thats why ganahan ko ma make sure ok paba or i have to get a new one immediately..

it seems like with the seatools, i cannot use the SMART and other diagnostic tests option on this external drive.. i don't know why though..

maybe it's locked by it's firmware..but it's unusual though..

try to check na dli quick scan..f lay error then ur HDD is fine..

btw, ok ra mn kaha ang HDD sa health status?

^ the hdd health status cannot be monitored coz in the info na window, wala may supported features.. so i dunno the health status..hehe

dugay ko wla nka balik da! thanks sa mga advice.. i burned dvd copies nlng for the files without backup just in case. so far its running well raman *crosses fingers*
