Complaints against Yellow Taxis

Cebu City Councilor Edgardo Labella said many taxi operators and drivers have raised complaints against officials of Mactan Cebu International Airport for allowing only the Yellow Taxi to serve the arriving passengers.

Labella said while the operation of Yellow Taxi greatly improves order in transporting passengers from the airport, many local travelers said the P70 flag down rate and P4 fare per succeeding 250 meters are far more expensive than the rates of ordinary taxis.

haha... mas maayo nalang nang fixed ang flag down kaysa anang mga taxi sa gawas sa airport nga magsige pangayo...samok kaayo... at least kanang mga yellow taxi's kay fixed na sila.. ang nakanindut sa yellow taxi kay in case ug in case naa kay complaints or naay nahabilin sa taxi.. kahibaw ka nga ang katong taxi imong gisakyan naa ra didto sa airport.dali ra magukod..

plus suya lang na uban taxi diha kay mga tikasan man. kung ubusan sa yellow taxi ilang flag down to regular rate? nah..wala na gyuy manakay anang mga taxi nga taga gawas...

Ikaw siguro maka-ingon ka ug metered or duol ra ang inyoha sa airport. How about katong mga layo ug first-time pa naka-anhi sa cebu?

.. it really depends on you the passenger and your streetsmarts in haggling with the white taxi. In the airport before, i always ride the white taxi without problems. 70 and 4 pesos is just too much. 50 and 3, that would be acceptable.


.. look, how could they justify the 70 and 4 pesos with just a plain Vios with no tint ?? No offense to Vios owners, but Vios sucks. It would be ok if they are using the latest Altis.

bawala pa jud na cila mo pick up ug pasahero outside the airport. . sakto rana ilang flagdown ky nag bayad sad na cila sa airport fees. .

Ang ordinary taxi man gud ila gusto kay sabot-sabot kay dili kuno sila sa meter kay alkanse sila laktod pagka sulti binuang ng ilang sabot-sabot system maayo pa dili na lang sila mo drive og taxi kung alkanse sila. Nindot man ning Yellow Taxi sa airport kay hapsay og derecho sakay naa pa jud receipt. mas barato sad ni compare sa rent-a-car diha sa airport nga buaya sad kaayo og rates. Dili man sad ni direct competition sa ordinary Taxi kay Airport to destination ra man ila ruta mao na times 2 ila rate compare sa ordinary taxi. FYI... ang mga tag-iya aning Yellow Taxi mga operators ra pud sa mga ordinary taxi like CTC/Corominas.

i agree with you....ako pud experience aning mga white taxi kay puro tekasan...mangayo dayun cla presyo...pahimo nalang unya ko landingan padung amoa kung wala nang yellow taxi....vios cars dont suck
