That is just the response I expected from you. I have learned to just tell the truth about things, nobody believes the truth anyway, so why waste all that effort. Lieing is just an act of those ashamed of their truths. I really do not care if anyone believes me, if you tell the truth and they refuse to believe, then who cares what they believe. If I tell you do not touch the stove it is hot, and you touch it anyway and get burned, I am not going to feel sorry because you did not believe me. Why am I here? My wife was born in Trinidad, Bohol. Her grandmother was Carlos P. Garcia's sister, and when he died her father moved from the Garcia compound to Surigao when she was about 7 years old. I met my wife in 1985 while stationed in Okinawa. We married in 1987 lived in Houston, Texas some 23 years, untill last October when we moved to Surigao City. We have a 14 year old son and felt that he needed to to attend High School here and he attends Caraga Regional Science High School and enjoys the school. We felt since he id the Great Grand Nephew of Carlos P. Garcia and a dual citizen he needed to learn what Pinoy was all about. We have a 6-1/2 hector farm on Dinagat island and I have skills that help the local farmers to grow better healthier crops without poisoning the land, themselves and the sea. I am helping a lot of people, plus helping my wife's parents in their elderly years. I like the Philippines which has incredible beauty, warm people, and a unique culture. Yes the Philippines has problems but every country in the world has problem. Your government is only 66 years old and is learning and improving all the time. I believe the Philippines will begin to get the respect it deserves and the Filipino will stand proud as the 14th largest ethnic group on this planet.

This is a good forum, most members are respectful and inciteful. It allow me to talk to young intellectual Filipinos and free exchange ideas. Some I have problems with, some could be due to language or cultural differences or simple misunderstandings. I will always answer you question as honest as I can, how else will you learn. I am an older man, ex-Marine, biologist, pure Texan; so I am blunt, to the point, and do not pull my punches. I am but a simple man, and fall shot of God's graces everyday, and am far from being perfect. I do not think I am better than another, and despise those that do. Honesty is all I can offer this forum. I have seen a lot of dishonesty on this forum. You should read the ex-pat and Kano forums, they lie and argue worst the here. Most have no idea what Pinoy is or what it is to be Filipino. They only want cheap beer and young girls, and act like a bunch of monkey-boys. In Texas a monkey-boy is a guy who just hangs around, makes too many loud sounds, and throws their crap at each other by the handful.

You can disagree with a man and then find common ground to develop a lasting friendship. Some of my best friends share a split-lip with me in an altercation. Good men get beyond the pains and insults and forgive then extend a hand in friendship. Evil men will hold a grudge and never forgive, and will never extend a hand. The difference is not in the mind, but what is in the heart.

I fought beside Philippine Marines back during Marcos's day, and trained many. We have US Marines training Philippine Marines today. I have the utmost respect for the quality and caliper of the Philippine Marines. Their professionalism is top notch and their dedication is outstanding. They are some of the best jungle fighters in the world.

c'mon james... you are a creationist... you should give me the satisfaction of knowing what you know.
The reason I would be hesitant to devote the time is I am not sure you would actually read all the information, Rather you will only try to find a way to scoff and insult. Would you use critical thinking methods and be respectful? You can not be purely bias because it challenges your beliefs and you can not just be defensive and confrontational. You also would have to be versed in all the theories of evolution to have a true free exchange debate. The information on the internet is too divided, because if it is found on a creationist website you can not automatically denounce the source. And all information on evolution website can not automatically be perceived as truths. We both need be open minded enough, mature enough, or respectful enough to listen and devote time to objectively look at all evidence. It can not be a personal crusade or be turn it all into some kind of a joke. We have to presented one theory and cover the described points to that theory. This would take weeks even months to cover everything. You do not have the believe me but have respect respect enough for me to get all the information presented. I is an intellectual debate and free exchange of information and judgment then at the conclusion.

You see, even you can't answer that question. btw, if your god is sooo intelligent about it, he can explain it with enough means... but since he's that "cryptic" he decided to just let every humans figure out on it own. I am open to any means of factual reasons but since your god never showed it... i'd rather scoff it as baseless and false.
God was intelligent enough to create you, he even wrote it so simple a child can understand, yet adults see too smart. God got tired of performing parlor tricks just so people would believe him, for he once walked among us. We left him, he did not leave us. You want free will and live our own lifes, then when we have problems then we want God. If you find faith then I believe you will have an eternity to seek all the answers to your questions, because it will take many lifetimes to fully grasp the immensity of it all just to know what question to ask.

I only call them as I see them if you act as if someone is disrespectful to me than I will verbally slap them across the face. I am not good at magic but I am more than glad to give you any facts or information I can help you with. I am no preacher, hell most preachers make the hair stand up on in. They give you the free word of God and want you to pay them for it. It is written 4,000 came to hear Jesus speak, and he worried how he was goin to feed them. A preacher has 4,00 come to hear the same words and he wants you to feed him, buy him a new $1,000 suit, $45,000 Rolex, and a $85,000 BMW. and he thinks he deserves 10% of everything the 4,000 make every week. He hold up the Bible and says pay me are God says you will burn in hell. I read the Bible and nowhere does it say that. If there is a final judgment, most priest and preachers are going to be thrown in the flaming pit. Greed of the church is one of the worlds biggest sinners. You do not need church to be saved, because God does not live in a building, he lives in your heart. I stay out of churches and I am not a preacher; and I will never ask you for anything but a little respect.

I do not know why God choose that you heart not receive faith, or why your eyes be closed. I spent years after reading the Book before faith found me. I hope your heart is not harden. He may have another plan for you, or chose another time to reveal himself to your heart. I do not question God's will, because I do not have the understanding of his plan. I am but his faithful foot solderer. I hope you find him I really do. I believe someday he will if you keep seeking him. Even if you turn you back to him, if he wants you you will follow.
