So, in the end we still have to DEPEND and RELY on ourselves and not on supernatural miracles regardless of your religion! What do you think? Do you think the Buddhists rely on Buddha or GOD? They rely on themselves and therefore, save themselves in the end.

I am just being PRACTICAL and ADAPTABLE for SURVIVAL in the end!

This has an influence on the overall gene pool of the population. But you have to clearly understand what "species" means. In general it refers to an inter-breeding group. If all the members of a group can breed with other members (of the opposite ***), then they are the same species. So if a species A slowly changes over time until it is bigger, or smaller, or lighter, or smarter, or with a bigger brain, or more forward facing eyes, or less fur ... then it's hard to say when exactly it has become a "new species" B. We can't know unless we tried to breed members of A with members of B ... but since members of A are long gone, all we can do is say that the features of B are different enough that we think of them as a "new species."But what is much clearer is when a species A "SPLITS" into TWO species B and C. Why does this happen? Because things happen in nature to cause populations of a species to become separated from each other. (A river cuts through a valley. A big migration happens. Islands drift apart or away from the mainland. Entire continents drift apart, etc.) If that happens then the "DIFFERENT" changes experienced by populations B and C will eventually make it so that they cannnot interbreed anymore, even if they were to come into contact again. At that point we say that B and C are "separate species" that share a common ancestor A.That is all evolution is. Evolution just means "change" or better yet a broader terms "slow cahnge" in a species. But that slow change is "relentless" change ... and so this "branching" between species B and C happens all the time. That is why we have found it possible to arrange all species into a huge "tree-like" organizational structure. We would not be able to do this if multiple species did not share common ancestors. And that is why almost ALL biologists are absolutely in agreement that, yes, not only is it possible for one species can evolve into another ... actually into two or more species that represent new separate "branches" in life.Ug dili pa gyud ka kasabut, I highly recommend this site. It is put together by the University of California at Berkeley ... but it is designed for High School students and teachers, and for laypeople wishing to understand how evolution works: Understanding Evolution
the question still remains. matod ninyo tanang organisms share a common ancestor, asa raman lagi ang link nga magsumpay sa usa ka specie to its ancestor?

Everything comes from the ONE and returns to the ONE!

I am sure that I was a true definition of Atheist. When I was a younger man I spent 6 years in the Marines as a recon/sniper and loved the kill, and had ghosts from the sins of my past. Then about 10 years ago before I left NASA I was associated with several scientist, mathematicians, and aro-engineers who would discuss the concepts of God and evolution vs. creationism together in the most informal of ways. At first I was very hesitant and resistant to it, but was challenged to pick up a bible to read it for myself. Like most people during my early church days I would sit and listen to a preacher holding the book, but never actually read it for myself. I have been reading it ever since, plus the lost books which are those the church tried to hide. www.thelostbookd.com is a good reference point. Read the Book on Enoch, because he describes God as he saw him and his tour to heaven. The bible contains references to man's coexistence with dinosaurs, UFO, alien beings, and numerous scientific and numerical theories of the 20th century but written over 3,000 years ago. The Bible's stories stop just being childern's stories when you read it with a scientific mind and is filled with scientific theories of the modern age. The children stories are actually an attempt to explain the most complex of theories to a simple people 2,000 years ago.

These members of the science community had brought up too many flaws in the way the earliest theories of evolution were conceived. Those that often just started using random figures which had become the foundations of a belief system that was structurally unsound. NASA has numerous projects that utilize the finest techniques, equipment, and minds in the world, and they were constantly being confronted with these contradictions. There are so many geological theories that sound great on paper or a class room, but are worthless when applied to the real global application.

Houston, Texas is home to one of the best Museum dinosaur exhibits in the United States, and the Texas Gulf coast is rich with fossil evidence. It also has a huge scientific community and is one of the major spots on the lecture tours. There is serious questions being asked behind closed doors as the information is constantly conflicting with certain parts of the sciences. The theories which are the bed rocks of evolution are flawed, and I do not expect you to just accept my word for it. You have not seen what I seen, or talked to who I have talked too, nor heard what I have heard. But I have and now am a skeptic for the reasoning behind these deceptive practices. One day the house of cards will be falling down, and it will harm schools and universities through out the world.

two words: "Ica Stones", look it up on the internet
funny you share that sentiment.. I hate them too.. I have my respects to the religious people who know how to strike the balance between religion and science.. they ought not to clash indeed..

although I have my "issues" with God, I'm not out to disprove God's existence.. its a moot point.. it will never be resolved because its beyond reason or logic.

for some scientists who have that agenda, i think they are severely misinformed as well.. or misdirected..

even though i'm in the scientific community, i do not readily accept everything that i am learning here.. i question it quite a lot, and do my own research to convince myself of such "knowledge". i appreciate your sharing on that insight, i'll be careful what kind of knowledge i get myself into..

the Bible really has too many symbolisms enmeshed in the stories.. i do not intend to belittle it by saying that it is "merely" a bunch of children's stories.. however, fact of the matter is, relative to our culture now, it really does appear like children's stories. or maybe it will appear like children's stories for all time..... but like all great stories of literature and lore, there's a certain aspect of truth hidden in them no matter how childlike and innocent it may appear.

this quest for the truth, in whatever form it may present is never ending.. i suppose one just has to keep an open and pure self to notice it when it comes..

Ica stones.. hmmm.. interesting topic.. ill read more about it.. its sci-fi.. my cup o' tea.. all this science still sounds sci-fi to me, despite them telling its reality..

are ica stones available for viewing for real in Texas?

They come from the Ica valley in Peru, most have been in Museum and private collections. There have been a couple frauds but over 1,500 are well documented most wre descovered before 1960 and carbon dating of the patina in the carved groves date over 1,200 years. Many show Dinosaurs, telescopes, even open heart and brain surgery. I saw one that was in collection since the 1960's deplecting a warror in head-dress riding a Triceratops as a steed. 1,700 years in age and was anatomically correct and size proportionate. The side of the Triceratops had 3 circular platelets that one would assume as fanciful armor decoration. 14 years later in 1996 a side impression of an actual specimen was unearth for the first time and impression of the shin was seen. It had 3 round platelets on the side. 1,700 years ago someone saw what was extinct 600 million years and not discovered until 1996?

Dinosaurs and dragons are in every anchant culture throughout the world, yet we have no dragons, and never has one been unearthed. Ancient cultures tell of heros of old staying great beast and serpents. Big beast eat and heros cleared the lands. American Indian tribe if the Rio Grand River, Colorado River, and Grand Canyon regions have similar tales of giant birds that would carry way livestock and small children. The greates of the warrors would hunt these great featherless birds, and the descriptions resemble a type of pterosaur, but only within the last few hundred years.

It is an amazing thing and rarely talked about because after all man and dinosaurs are 600 million years apart. Yet there it is, they either saw something or hallucinated but real accurately.

Tsk... tsk... the minute mind of pein. Matubag gani ang pangutana, opens up another one. Pein my advise to you is try reading evolution 101 because your knowledge about it is too shallow and thus makes you... V.I.P.

c'mon james... you are a creationist... you should give me the satisfaction of knowing what you know.

Can you gives us a brief description how did your god created all living things?
Do you really think that even if he could, that you would really be able to understand even a small part of his answerer? Besides you will just scoff at it even if it were factually correct.
You see, even you can't answer that question. btw, if your god is sooo intelligent about it, he can explain it with enough means... but since he's that "cryptic" he decided to just let every humans figure out on it own. I am open to any means of factual reasons but since your god never showed it... i'd rather scoff it as baseless and false.

Can you precisely give us an answer why your god exist?
What man could possible answer why God exist? how about because he just does.
where? I don't see him... where do you think he may be hiding? Who is he hiding from? What man? Well this man, james has tons of questions to ask your god if he really do exist.

I happy and proud be a Creationist fool, even thou I have to put up with hateful sarcastic smart-mouthed atheistic foolish tator-tots like you.
ha... like you haven't started that sarcasm james! Be proud of being a fool james and I don't want any part of that because this "atheistic foolish tator-tots like me" will always be a thorn to you.

Read the Bible for yourself, it just might do you some good.
I've read the bible james! There is no point of believing what written in there actually. Unless there is something you can pull out from your hat, I might do the unthinkable...

sorry to disappoint you again james, your myopic view of Islam fits well the profile of a victim of an anti-islamic sponsored site.

is this what your bible taught you? if you can't defend your faith properly then attack the faith of your enemy? cheap shot. well what's new? you can't even deal straightly on those showing God ordering Moses to kill women and children.
