    i used slowshutter speed to get the motion blur of the subject in order to let the audience/viewers see the movement in the horrible event. i also use iso1600 some pics para grainny and noisy just to add and effect on how tragic this day was.

    but then again photography is subjective right so i still respect your views

    based on the shots, obviously the photographer is trying to make/take artistic shots (artistic blurring) which doesn't work... i think he is not thinking of documenting what happen but looking for shots to enter into some contests in the future (i may be wrong though)...

    Yeah, I heard about that story. It was the photographer's choice not to help the child. Nonetheless, not all photographers are the same or share the same personality or traits. Another photographer, in the same situation, might have happened to help the little child.

    Koto isn't being selfish at all. In fact other press photographers who are covering the event at the moment are in fact working and risking their lives to show the world the devastation in which Ondoy has caused. I don't see them being selfish.

    And for goodness sake, Koto isn't promoting himself. He simply just wants to share the chaos the storm has brought. Period.
