Have you ever heard of photo journalism? Haven't you seen the pictures from Middle East - Gaza and Israel or how about Iraq and Afghanistan. There are far worse images being captured out of those regions. Do you have something against those photographers too? Some of these very same photographers have won several photo awards.

Koto is just reporting the devastation which the storm has caused. I don't see anything wrong with that.

    Don't be ignorant, my friend.

i remember one time sa homily sa pari... He said naa daw photojournalist nga american and he went to Somalia. In there he took shots of a very malnourished child about to die and about to be eaten by a crow. When he arrived in USA he got first price for that shot and recieved money and recognitions. Months later, he commit suicide and he left a note stating his conscience could not take it. He could have saved the child from death instead of taking shots. Lain-lain lang siguro ug point of view ang mga taw pero kung naa ko didto sa hitabo i would rather help than taking shots just to promote myself in order to win awards. I maybe ignorant then but im not selfish....

In spite of the photo being blurred or the camera being used, the person was still documenting the event. You don't need to have high quality shots to depict an event or situation. And the pictures aren't that bad.

dude being a photojounalist is also like a nurse or a doctor u will feel sympthy by the patient na imo gi handle cuz of thier suffering and problems. but in order to do your job done dapat di ka ma absorb (gets ka)

again sayup imo interpretation sa nahitabo ni kevin carter

On 27 July 1994 Carter drove to the Braamfonteinspruit river, near the Field and Study Centre, an area where he used to play as a child, and took his own life by taping one end of a hose to his pickup truck’s exhaust pipe and running the other end to the passenger-side window. He died of carbon monoxide poisoning at the age of 33. Portions of Carter's suicide note read:

"I am depressed ... without phone ... money for rent ... money for child support ... money for debts ... money!!! ... I am haunted by the vivid memories of killings and corpses and anger and pain ... of starving or wounded children, of trigger-happy madmen, often police, of killer executioners...I have gone to join Ken if I am that lucky."

he didnt die because of that award which he won because of this photo http://iusbpreface.files.wordpress.c...vin_carter.jpg

tungod gai ani nga shots the world was awaken sa starving situation in afrika and some people with money try to help,
even now it is still happening.
