it's hard to argue with creationists because they always love to be on the safe side. statements like "we only have our faith and God" is hard to counteract because no matter what you say, they always have God as their argument.

chad, because we believe in it its always does... Its good thing you understood why you cannot debate creationist. Because in the end there is always the FAITH Part nobody can explain. If you come to think of It the beginning and the end is about the creator. Therefore if you do not have faith then in the first place its not SATISFACTORY enough in your POV.

Evolution is based on the PREMISE OF MILLIONS OF YEARS and thats a lot of time, everything can happen. Question did it happen? Unfortunately there are no satisfactory results that is why it is still called EVOLUTION.

If Evolution will overcome the word THEORY, then that will solve the debate if not, then we are stuck on this philosophy based on FAITH. You got yours and we have ours... the difference is, we have the creator with us, you have your million of years with you.

Not yet completely sure, we are still exploring isn't it, if the missing link of evolution is found and established, the cambrian explosion is defined with facts, the Big bang theory primieval atom and it's origin, The string theory, there still a lot that we have to understand and justify fully before we could conclude, and still our knowledge is limited to tackle the veracities.
So for now I will just keep what I believe, but I'm always open to accept things and it should be an irrefutable fact to start with.

No need to refute him kebz because he already landed in a 10-year jail time. Hovind's ideas are interesting but what made him easy to refute because he spoke of things that are garbage. What I don't like about him is that he goes telling people to believe God's creation which is only written in the book. But, when he was asked about geological anthropology, he reverts himself to scientific findings that according to this and that... and science observed this... and that... those kind of stuff.

Isn't it ironic why creationists borrow so much scientific discoveries or methods just to prove their theories? Creationists supposed to argue science instead, they use science for their need. That's pathetic.
