naa lang pud koy i add. if magpakaon, ibutang sila sa usa ka planggana para adto didto sila eat, leave them there for an hour or two, para adto nalang pud sila malibang. para dili mahugaw dayon ilang tank.

sakto ka bai..mao sad na ako gihimo karon.. within 2 hrs after kaon, malibang man dayon sila..dagko kaayo ang tae..hehehe.

wala jud ko knowledge pila ila edad..it's very difficult to determine due to so many factors..like how much protein they're taking before I bought them..what kind of diet they're in.. calcium intake plus basking frequency (for the bones).. and others.. All I know is that when I bought them, they were just about 2" (straight carapace length)..and that was last June 18.. Now, they're about 3" SCL already..

yes, mamaak jud sila but not sakit..(sakit pa ang manok)..
there are two ways of pamaak..one is due to being aggressive and wild, while the other is due to "paak2x lang".. the RES in my case belong to the latter....usually it's just them being playfull and not due to aggression.. if ibutang nako ako tudlo duol sa ila, ila dayon tuhik2x pero dula2x lang sila.. Anyway, I handfeed them so anad jud sila sa'koa.. On a second note, RES is one of the most inquisitive and curious reptiles, they will try to bite anything that moves hoping that it's food..and yes, including your wriggling fingers..

maski unsa lang..pero careful sa too much protein... dapat more ang calcium jud.. you can give them ground cuttle bone.. vegetable also contains calcium trace.. buy nalang SANYU Turtle Sticks ila justice..and give them 2-3 sticks each everyday to complement the lacking nutrients.. kung sa layman's term pa..vitamins bali nila..hehehe..

naa sad ko lain suggestion, diba daghan kaayo snails inyo aquarium? kanang pointed jud ang shell? they're called Malayan Live-Bearing Snails.. you can crash them and feed them to your RES with the shells.. The snail meat = protein. The crushed shell = calcium.. What do you think?
