if your goal in breeding is just for selling puppies, then i would say that's making a business out of puppies, but if your goal in breeding is for the betterment of the breed, then, by all means, breed!

Hello fellow Pug Lovers.

I'm Dino Tan current secretary of Pug Dog Club of the Philippines (PDCP) affiliated club of PCCI. Currently we are encouraging and looking for pug owners to join the PDCP as new members, both in and out of Metro Manila. We will be having our election of officers this Oct. 10, 2009. And one of our agenda is to form provincial chapter clubs under the PDCP, and we can only do that and make PCCI agree with our proposal if we can show them that we have members who were based outside of Metro Manila and nearby provinces in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

So please fellow pug lovers, if we really love this breed let us help one another to guard and improve the quality of our beloved breed.

nice to hear from you dino, ang ganda talaga ni justine, post ka naman ng tips paano mag alaga ng magandang pug like flubber and justine, about the pdcp membership, is it ok if i just send you a soft copy of the application through email then deposit the amount in pdcp's bank account?

Isa po sa agenda sa meeting sa Oct yang pagsasaayos ng bank account ng club, kaya meantime mas maganda na cash na lang muna, or make check payable to cash. Sorry hehe, don't worry maaayos din natin ang lahat.

im not against people selling pugs/dogs.. where did you get that idea

ahh maybe in that vision statement "pug is not business, business is not pug"... thats a general statement against people who's into breeding of pugs just for the business side of it... it was not directed to you unless of course you consider yourself as one, are you?

btw, this is a thread for responsible pug ownership... i hope we can be friends here for the greater benefit of our breed of choice- the pug.
