Default Suggest about my business plan...

I have a 500k-1M budget to start a business. the thing is this is my 1st time to invest.

    and my plans are:

1st Option) to put up and agrivet supply in the province (badian, cebu), and have a poultry(150 chicken),duck(150 ducks),goat(20 native,2 high breed(bore) farm simultaneously.

    my concern's are:

    * I need to rent the space for my argrivet store
    * I need to construct poultry, duck, goat house and fence
    * My lolo and father are quite a liability since they don't know how to handle money(My main problem)

2nd option) to put up vending machine, and engage in lending.

    my concern's are:

    * where can i buy a vending machine(to be specific tissue vending machine u can see in the mall toilet's)
    * about the lending what precentage will i be asking im planning 4-5%

---and if you have any good business suggestion i am open to listen in ur proposal---
    thanks istorya

    both are good options..

how bout you combine the agrivet biz and lending biz.. i would suggest scrapping the vending machine concept...

im curious lang as who will handle the business coz you mentioned thast your dad and lolo dont know how to handle the biz...

    example..
you loan the client feeds for his pig.. in return.. you get a percentage of the total selling price of the pig...
you loan fertilizers then you get a percentage of the harvest..

by combining both options. mas dynamic imu bizness.. which means mas paspas lihok ang kwarta.. hehe.. and both operations support and complement each other pa jud..

I will be the on to handle the business. but the thing is i am still at the peak of my carreer in abroad.

can you suggest what should i do coz for me i am willing to sacrifice my job to venture into business without any assurance of success. because i believe doing business is the best and the most challenge career.

choosing badian is I supposed taga badian ka. You have such a big capital but dont pour them all in your experimental business. Experimental I would say becaus you are outside the country and I believe you have to have a vacation at Badian maybe for a month in order to see the real business opprtunities. Do not rely on your relatives/ family's/ freinds info, you have to be there to see and make a study.

Agrivet business is okey, focus there and venture another later. I can see your expansion (goat, duck raising ect) is related to your main agrivet business, thats good, but not simultaneous. Leave at least 6 months or after you have mastered the main business (Agrivet supply).

Avoid doing Lending business as of now. Lending business is not for anyone who has capital. It is for someone who is willing to loose frens or relatives just for sake of its business purposes. in other words "kung humok ka kasing kasing ayaw nalang pagLending".

You might also consider hardware in your area or a General merchandise store na baligya tanan. This kind of business are good in the provinces. just my opinion

y not keep your job and start your business at the same time? its possible.. it would require organizational skills..

first, i would suggest that you start to make an operating manual for your business.. it should state how operations should be conducted (procedures)... this will give you an idea as to how the business will run.. this will later be used as a training manual for your staff.. you have to first create a system..

second, i would advise that you affiliate your business with local cooperatives in the area..

3rd.. i would advise forming a family corporation.. dont worry if dili kamao mo handle sa kwarta imu dad or lolo.. just give them clear instructions on how to handle the kwarta, (like diritso sa banko after collections). but you really need a professional accountant on this one... i would advise that you start with 1m then ask other members to invest (assuming cool mo tanan sa inu family..) an investment of 3m or above shuold generate a good income considering the overhead coz dili ikaw nag manage..

ive seen this system being used in some parts of negros..
