either brand, malipay raka.. hehehe! basta if you plan on really pursuing the hobby, then you must do research on each brand and really see what it can give you. Eventually, you will settle to a brand that will suit your needs. hehehe! I admire both Canon and Nikon. My first film SLR was a Nikon FM10. In fact, I had 2 lenses at that time, the regular kit lens and a tamron 80-300 lens. So when I was choosing a DSLR, nikon would have been the brand for me. But I did my research, and Canon seems to cater my needs. hehehe!

Another factor nga gi-ingon ni td209, kay ang imong mga friends. Importante gyud ni if maghulmanay ra mo ug mga lenses. hehehehe

Personally? I'd go with d90 between sa imo choices. Sakto pod ang ila gi-advice nga check if unsa ang mga cams sa imo friends para maka-hulam/try ka sa ila mga gears, but really in the near future you'll meet lots of other photo enthusiast so managhan ra japon imo kaila with the same brand so it wouldn't matter. Sa ako nga dilemma before when buying my first ever slr ky ang ako 1st choice would be the Nikon, but having to select between d60 and 1000d ky I end up buying the latter.

Nikon D90. Saun wala man kaabot ako wawart sa Nikon D3000 nalang ko nahulog. And sukad2x Nikon ra dyud mga camera ako permi na palit. Nindot Quality sa nikon. Promise!

correct, kng my cams imu frens, better try it first or if puede ka ka try sa mga shops sa ilang products, then try ang duha kng asa user-friendly para nimu.. mine is Nikon D5000, so far ganahan q sa features, mas barato kay sa D90 though walay in-body motor. kung ka afford ka mahalun, better go for Nikon D90 or D300s ba kaha hehehe..

haha both brand sa cams kay nindot man dyud.. naa ra dyud na sa imu preferences .. once you are stuck in that brand... ma married naka ana.hehhe... just read og mga reviews bro.hehe it really help on deciding what to invest.heheh.. and go sa asa ma kaya imu budget.heheh both cams are good.. up ko ana.. im a 500d users and ganahan ayu ko.. nindot dyud. cya.heheh pero nindot sad ang d90.. that's my first choice.. but i just love canon and naa sad sila daghan choices of lenses which you will invest in the near future..
