.. you're talking about Glare. hhhmmm, people who have astigmatism always are bothered with glare. That's why they invented the multicoated lens to minimize glare.

.. doing welding is one of the most harmful activities to the eyes. you MUST use the proper welding mask or welding googles to protect your eyes. Your retina will literally burn from doing welding due to too much light intensity entering your eyes. Try gani put ug flashlight directly sa imo eyes for 30 seconds, it damn hurts, multiply it by a hundred, that's the effect of welding to our eyes.

.. but with regards to washing your face after welding, that's a must-do, to wash away any debris from your face. and don't worry, dili mapasmo imo eyes ana.

kanang sparkling sa welding lahi na sad diay na cya nga klase nga light? kay harmful naman?
how bout staring at fireworks sir? dba mura mansad cya ug sparkle sa welding.. but from a farther distans lang..

and does being exposed to sunlight, preha anang udtong dako nga mgbaktas ka then init, makadamage ba na sa mata? related na sa mata nganu mulabad ang ulo kung init kaayu sa udto?

.. hehehe.. ok ra na ang fireworks. What i mean is, super bright light, like that coming from doing welding.

.. sunlight ?? actually, it's the U.V. that's doing most of the harm, but not to the extent that it will do some actual damage. Wearing shades can always remedy this. And having a headache when exposed to too much heat is not related to your eyes, it's the heat.

.. thanks for your questions, i hope this will shed some light on the false-beliefs on our eyes people have.

.. keep your inquiries coming, i'll try my best to answer it for you
