Does a soul or spirit reside in the flesh?

^to answer that question, seeing a spirit or soul will not suffice coz it might not be a human spirit, you have to see the spirit getting out of the human body to know if it resides in the body or not. i haven't seen that happening to others. but based on experience, the more apt word would be attached. the spirit is not boxed inside the body but attached to it, particularly on the solar plexus area, i think, since this is where you usually feel the sucking sensation when you go back in.

hehehe...this reminds me of a student in an online course asking if we could video the obe. the moderators said that we don't have that kind of technology yet. another opinion based on experience, the spirit has a mass coz when you pass through walls or material things you feel a density, its like passing through air, you don't feel it much but it's there. like a pulse.

Occultism teaches that the whole object of the senses is to reveal the NOT-SELF, & to enable the SELF therefore to differentiate between the real & the unreal.

Ordinarily the soul is defined as... a word to express the sum total of the psychic nature-the vital body, the emotional nature & the mind stuff, but it is also more than that.

Occultism teaches that the soul therefore, is neither spirit nor matter, but is the realtion between them.
The soul is another name for the Christ principle, whether in nature or in man.
The soul is the CONSCIOUS FACTOR in all forms, the source of that awareness w/c all forms registers & of that responsiveness to surrounding group conditions w/c the forms in every kingdom of nature demonstrate.
The soul is the perceiving entity produced through the union of Father-Spirit & Mother-Matter.
