from the link posted by poldo:

One thing that users should be wary of is plugging in the 3-pin power connector for the pump into a motherboard header - you need to turn OFF fan control. It requires the full 12V for optimum performance and anything less will seriously hinder its effectiveness. This is another area, in hindsight, where we appreciate the Domino ALC for having an alarm telling us the pump was not working as it should.

yep, but i'm sure the 3-pin fan header can be configured for an alarm via BIOS. as for the fan, you can plug it in via CPU fan header that has PWM control. only the pump needs full 12-volt power requirement.

its also just a minor setback, i'd rather have a broken pump as the processor can shut itself down should it overheat rather than liquid spilling over my motherboard.

EDIT: sorry, AMD users..i don't know kung naa ba thermtrip.

Subscribed ko ani nga thread. Looking forward to see first hand reviews from istoryans here.

Interesting to read nga putting an additional fan in push/pull does not help with lowering temps, and that choosing the right case is essential.

Nel, ni try na ka dual fans sa coolit? basig naay improvement pa.

gal, so far so good - happy ko sa performance even with single fan and temps read out on the LCD is a nice touch kay I know when to crank up the fan speed
