Criticism
When StarStruck's fourth season finished airing, a lot of TV review gurus and press people have pointed that the show has lost its excitement and "reality" factor since its second season. Popular tabloids also found StarStruck's "downsizing" from 30 to 60 minute episodes to 15 to 30 minute airing contributed to its dissolving popularity. Another prominent topic that Internet Bloggers and TV Critics cite is that the show's constant and sudden format changes tend to confuse viewers. Criticisms like these led to the show's current hiatus.

It's a wonder what format and gimmicks GMA will use this time around.

With the two Cebu auditions, I think GMA is planning to put more Cebuanos into the StarStruck mix and then play/abuse them to their delight for the sake of ratings.

I think Ritchie D. Nolasco has been silenced by the shame of declaring showbiz being more important than education.

Considering how rich these giant media networks are, better venues could have been used.

Considering how rich these giant media networks are, better venues could have been used.
