.. yep, i agree with you goatee-dude, that's the problem with people these days, they tend to believe that those posted on youtube or in the internet for that matter is fact. sucks, really.

Freemasonry is an old secret society before Englishmen landed on American soil. Until now there are still freemasons and most of them are high officials, politicians, and rich people.

heard and watched a lot of movies about secret societies and they are actually true though the people involved have a talent in deviating the issue, i guess that's one of the many reasons that these secret orgs remain a conspiracy til now... thnx for the link TS... appreciated it alot

The full text of Kennedy's speech can be found on this link. It is archive information.

The President and the Press: Address before the American Newspaper Publishers Association - John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum

This is one of the most notable parts of the speech - it strikes a chord since big businesses and tycoons have control of certain media to support their own interests (Rupert Murdoch anyone?).

"Without debate, without criticism, no Administration and no country can succeed--and no republic can survive. That is why the Athenian lawmaker Solon decreed it a crime for any citizen to shrink from controversy. And that is why our press was protected by the First Amendment-- the only business in America specifically protected by the Constitution- -not primarily to amuse and entertain, not to emphasize the trivial and the sentimental, not to simply "give the public what it wants"--but to inform, to arouse, to reflect, to state our dangers and our opportunities, to indicate our crises and our choices, to lead, mold, educate and sometimes even anger public opinion."

    So much for "Soviet Union"

When you think about it, it is probable that JFK's speech (and warning about secret societies) got him silenced by these powerful groups. I used to think it was the war-hungry people of the military/intelligence communities, or the mafia that killed him. With the 1961 speech, the theory about secret societies having a hand in the president's death makes sense.

JFK was also the last U.S. president who spoke out against secret societies.

I don't see any direct reference to any of the "flashing text and images" that refer to "big businesses and tycoons" and "Rupert Murdoch" being interspersed while JFK's speech is ongoing. Again, a very manipulative video.

Note these lines pertaining directly to the cold war (i.e. US vs. Soviet Union)...

"For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence--on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations.

Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed. It conducts the Cold War, in short, with a war-time discipline no democracy would ever hope or wish to match."

To the others misled by the people propagating this thread, re-read the speech and be informed, not be blind fools following misguided thrill seekers.
