If you can guarantee 1 year warranty from any apple store here in the Philippines then I will get one as well, 32GB black. Nindut if you can get a letter from apple and the desginated dealer who will honor the warranty.
this is the tricky part about buying iphones outside of Globe. the nice thing about this post though is that the items are really priced so low. if this was posted 3wks ago i would have reserved one and would have been happy even without the warranty. a ~9k / ~10k (16gb / 32gb) savings is enough reason for me to forego warranty.
that being said, i just want to inform everyone eyeing an iphone that getting an iphone postpaid plan from globe is really not that hard. i applied online, emailed my scanned requirements and got my 3gs delivered to me in less than 2wks. ymmv. i applied for a gflex800 plan and paid 25k+ for a 16gb 3gs. this being a 2yr lock-in i'm actually paying a bit more. i could live with it. so if u guys don't mind the lock-in this might be a viable option.
just want to share this experience coz it might help others acquire an iphone. this is not to take anything away from this great posting here. these are still the cheapest iphones (3gs) i've seen. just want to recommend to the seller that you keep the items sealed. if you want to offer your customers a free jailbreak/unlock do it after they have opened the box themselves. i'm sure your customers will appreciate it
up for u bai!
