i read this book by michelle meneses and i came across this

flings are not for everyone. it would be best if [one] could be absolutely sure that they can handle flings without suffering unbearable guilt, without getting too hurt emotionally, and without becoming callous and cynical,before they do it.

it got me thinking, is that possible? and can you stop yourself from getting emotionally attached to your "fling"?

no. if people answer that they can make it work, that they cannot get emotionally attached to your fling...then my answer to that is, you have have not been through many.

the more you have, your chances of falling for one increases. if love at first sight can happen to anyone, how much more if one has a fling.
