Anyway if you read closely the posts on the link. It was hit by a machine gun not a rifle.. its more on a lucky shot coz Hind is fully armored than any other attack helicopters.

If they dont need SAMs to bring down a HIND then there is no point of the CIA's Stinger missiles supplied to the Mujahideens.

As Rodion posted there is no Philippine Air Force chopper being shot down by the rebels.. tabanog ra naka tagak..

There is a huge difference between a rifle and a machine gun... kana nga case rare ra kaayo na bro.. gunner was very lucky, the bullets went through the hydraulics pipes...
