na delayed jud siya og 3.5hrs. tikasan ang cebu pac kay bisag nagboard mi og 5:15pm, 4:55pm ila gisulat para less than 3hrs delay. flight time was supposed to be 2pm. ingon daw na beyond 3hrs delay, manghatag na og free ticket. like pnoize, we were served chicken joy and bottled water.

anyways, ok lang kay gibawi man sa return flight from davao to cebu. advance og 10mins. every minute was essential kay naa koy float 2hrs after arrival to be able to report to work today. thankfully ok ra

I guess people still believe this forced adage that modern air travel is as "simple as hopping into a cab/jeep", which is simply not the case.

The key to being calm about flight delays and the like, is to learn more about aviation, particularly commercial avation. Once you know about the complexities (the "backroom" stuff) of why delays occur (esp. if they're mechanical, avionics, or ATC issues), sometime it even makes you feel thankful, rather than irate, that your flight got delayed.

mao bitaw magplane sir, para dali ra maabot. ang key man unta ato kay iexplain nila og tarong, ingon lang na nagrounded? why? wala jud gitubag. customers don't have to know every minute details to buy a service. airline business, like any other businesses should be ran smoothly, kung dili gani, expect some irate customers.

That's a management problem. Management can suck but still have good pilots and crew. I'd rather fly in an airline that has sucky/incompetent management but has good pilots, than an airline with great management but has bad/incompetent pilots.

Unfortunately, bad weather is oblivious to the word "smoothly".
