TIPS: travelling puppies/dogs from manila-cebu vice versa

sa pier mismo, before the boarding area or boarding terminal sa pier in manila. i suggest take the super ferry.

you can get the quarantine permit the day before the scheduled voyage. the dog is not required to be brought when you get the quarantine permit. all required by the quarantine officer is the health card OR vaccination record which is with UPDATED anti rabies shot.

when the dog boards the ship it is required to have a cage. every ship has a LIVESTOCK area or pet keeping area. didto ra na pwede mag stay ang dog. naa man usually na hose. so if mag toilet ang dog sa cage; you clean it there also on the pet area. superferry voyage mnl-cebu average is 18 hours. ships from manila to cebu or vice versa will not allow travel of dog without a companion since 18 hours; wala mag take care along the travel.

One more question sir. Naa ba extra payment for the dog or puppy? Is it alright to put more than 1 puppy in 1 cage? Do they have a fix amount of fee or do they charge by weight or dimension of the cage?

the payment from manila to cebu is via weight or dimension which ever is higher. sa pier in manila they give fixed amount tickets; tag 30 per ticket man tingali to. gsd 4 months; cost me for cargo around 450 or something. two pups or dogs is okay as long as it fits the cage.

Problema gyud ko unsaon pag-ship from Manila to Cebu sa 2 yr old gsd sa akong relative. I hope naa diri maka-share sa ilang experience in shipping adult dogs by boat.

Asa man dapit kuhaon ang quarantine permit sa Manila? Are we required to bring the dog when applying for quarantine permit? Kon makuha na ang quarantine permit pwede na ba i.diretso karga sa barko ang dog? Naa pa bay bayronon sa boat for the dog? Unsaon man, timbangon gihapon? Which boat travels from Manila to Cebu? Pila sad ka oras biyahe? Asa man palibangon ang iro while onboard the ship?

Taas man gud biyahe ana (at least 16-18 hours, depend on the boat) and mubayad pa ka ug extra ticket para nimo/imo relative. Lisud man pud nga dili kuyugan nimo imuang iro, kay basin ma-unsa pa lang imo gsd. Extra boat fare + pagkaon pa.

Although flying by plane will be a little more expensive, at least dili na kailangan kuyugan ang gsd. pwede ra airport to airport. paspas pud. Abot na imo iro and di na ka mag worry. Nice man gud ang GSD

ang document needed for travelling is "quarantine permit". kaning permit kay makuha ni sa quarantine office mam, depende if boat or plane. na mention na nako mga location around few post earlier on this thread.

quarantine officer will issue the permit if "updated" ang anti rabies vaccine sa imo dog. that means if 3 months pataas should have anti rabies shot na. then anti rabies is given annually. to evidentiate that your dog has updated shots; you will show the health card or vaccination card sa quarantine officer. pag updated; they will issue you the permit

the quarantine permit then is required by the ship/boat or plane personnel to check if you have it. if wala dili maka board ang inyo dog/puppy.

mga sir, ask lang ko..unsa ng GSD,ug uban pang mga abbreviations ninyong gigamit?
behind man gud kyo ko..di ko kasabot...cge ko basa, pero musangit akong panan-aw aning mga terms.

naa man gud ko dog, i tried travelling with him via boat(ceb-leyte), grabe ka kapoy ky dli ko kapahulay, muhilak man if mawagtang kos iyang panan-aw so i stay with him all the time and of course by his side jud, as in! ingana cya ka lambing or kahadlok bah.

now, i wanna know if pwede ba na cya ka cross internationally like if mu migrate ko somewhere, ganahan jud ko dad-on nako cya huhuhu

yes mam, can be brought in or out of the country. depending sa country na imo adtoan kay lahi lahi ug quarantine laws and policy. some states in u.s.(as i heard) would require around days confinement in their quarantine facilities as soon as mo abot imo dog didto. healthy or not. so depende gyud na sa asa ang recieving country. here in ph though; if imported from other country dili kuti or wala quarantine required na mag stay sa quarantine facility; required ra is makig HANGYO-AY ka sa customs ehehhe
