- HEIGHT
- AGE LIMIT
- PERSONALITY
- MARITAL STATUS

These are minimal factors not to land a job but its a sad fact na it existed which contributes UNEMPLOYMENT even though you excelled in school or learned enough . Example lang sa mga MEDREPS karon , if MAYA ka , dako kaayo ang chance na madawat ka because you are METROSEXUAL by nature and METROSEXUALS are really presentable to PHYSICIANS on top of the sales representing anc convincing powers . So Springfield what in your opinion is the cause of our lack of ethics and intolerable character? Are we born into it? I know for a fact that there are people inclined to cheat in other countries as well, but they do not do it because from a young age they have learned that cheats do get caught and get punished severely. The problem is really the lack of funding of our schools, the more you ignore that reality, the more I'm convinced you're just deadset on finding excuses for PGMA and past admins. With a very high student to teacher ratio, it is impossible to sufficiently police classes to ensure that cheating is almost always caught, that is why students end up learning that you can get away with it, and hence they keep on doing it even up until college.

In the US this is simply not the case. Most of the cheaters in college there are international students, especially Indonesians and other Asians who incidentally also came from bad school backgrounds (eg low funding).

Well I can tell you because I personally am an employer that with so many applications, everything counts from the attitude of the person in the interview to the minute details of the resume, CV and yes, TOR scores. They are all important, and people who can't even get something as simple as passing a course in college, do not get jobs period, except in the very rare instances.

And school reputation does matter, I am not going to choose a management graduate from UV over a management grad from Ateneo given the same salary.

The "something missing" in the education part is the funding. We are among the lowest spenders in the world per capita GDP when it comes to education, which is shocking given the fact that the Constitution expressly mandates priority funding for education. And much of the little funding that does get in, is siphoned off by corruption. Have you even seen the books they provide to kids nowadays in public schools? They are totally trash! I suggest you do some more research on this issue, so you will be aprised of the real situation of our schools here.

And funding for education does not stop merely at hiring more teachers and buying more books. In advanced countries like S. Korea, Japan, the U.S. and Australia, they actively fund research universities to the tune of billions of dollars amounting to a very large portion of their GDP. In S. Korea they have a very well-respected science and technology institute that has a very large endowment of funds. This is why S. Korea is now competing with Japan in electronics (Samsung) and cars (Hyundai, Kia, etc) even if they were late to the game.

There is no reason why we should not dream of such things, but you are satisfied with a disabled dream, kanang kimpang nga vision sa pilipinas.
