Philippines will not exist anymore kay mag civil war na ta
hala tinuod ni? basin atik ra.... maybe 500 years from now.. sure ko..
Of course being a LEADER of a COUNTRY who sits in the highest position needs not eat just somewhere else . AFterall , these are not her ROUTINE of MEALS and worst of all , she was just a GUEST and not the HOST . I am poiting out the 20K meal here and not her " corruption " . Now ... now ... where did you get your basis calling Philippines DIRT POOR ? She is only entitled only to the MOST EXPENSIVE RESTAURANT in NY ? Over ka ha !!
LMFAO !!! I think its you , the opposition and the rest of the CRITICS should give PGMA a break because you guys and gals know where stand ."Based on reports" give me a break, it is based on a newsbit by Cerge Remonde, the propagandist chief-extraordinaire of Malacanang. That's like believing Joseph Goebbels when he says Jews are not really being gassed in concentration camps.
By saying you dont quite understand the line of argument but your wild guest of reply marks the spot is really coincidental . Hmmm ... tumpak ka !! LEE KWAN YEW's strict compliance is a factor but without the COOPERATION and PROSITIVE ATTITUDE of the Singaporeans , do you really think he is of any good ?I'm not quite understanding your line of argument here, it seems to be going here, there and everywhere. The implementation of Singapore's laws are also because of Lee Kwan Yew's diligence and strictness. It is not just a matter of him being principled and ethical, it's also about him being efficient, strict and intelligent, qualities that are also missing from our monkey president.
I think its you who dont get it . Bisan kinsa ang ga lingkod sa pwesto , KURAKOT jud na.... but BANANA Q and RASKI will always be the PRINCIPLED and STRAIGHT PEOPLE who will never sell their votes because they have POSITIVE ATTITUDES . What am I missing now ? Naa sa tao ang impluwensya , wala sa nagdumala !! Kay ang nagdumala gikan ra na siya sa ordinaryo na tao . Gets na ?Once again you are missing completely the link between principled leadership and principled people. Singaporean citizens would not be principled and incorruptible if their leaders were unprincipled and corrupt. You are getting the chicken-and-egg analysis completely backwards. If leadership does not matter, if they have no influence in how citizens respect and obey the law, then why have them at all. Let's just have anarchy. Anyway I have high powered weapons in my house and I will shoot down any imbeciles who try to invade my home. Is that what you want?
Actually ... we had the same dilemma , but its the other way around of the outcome . We had the CUSTOMS OFFICIALS ENTRAPPED and PUNISHED to the extent where it is applicable by law sa ilahang actions . Sa scenario na gihatag nimo , if its indeed TRUE then I fell sorry sa relative niom but if they ENCOURAGED the CORRUPT OFFICIALS , they are just contributing the CORRUPTION .Getting back to all seriousness, how can you expect people not to give in to corruption, when to get the most basic needs from the government one almost certainly has to pay "under the table" to get things done. This is true not just for businessmen but anyone wanting a service that should be done immediately, no questions asked, by the government as provided by law. I'll give you an example of how awful our government is, I have a relative who out of civic-mindedness wanted to pay the right import tax for all his goods coming into the country and so he declared everything to the last detail to customs and thought everything would go through smoothly. Do you know what happened next? His goods were held up at customs and they told him they "lost" his papers, and they would find it if he could give them some encouragement. Now tell me, how much shall the businessmen, or the ordinary citizen sacrifice so that the government can do their job? Would it not be better to sacrifice the government people instead, by chopping their heads off starting from the top and working down to the bottom? Is it too much to ask that the corrupt be sacrificed instead of the people of the country who are their victims and unwilling accomplices in corruption?
If that is the case ... by saying PREVENTION is BETTER than CURE is also STUPID . AM I right ?Walay ma-murder kung walay mag-pamurder. Walay marape kung walay mag-parape. Where have we seen this stupid argument before? Blame the victim for the crimes of the perpetrator? Now that's the height of misplaced arrogance right there...
On a different note , its the CITIZENS who lets and allows these leaders not to ENFORCE the LAW and make more money from CORRUPTION .Then why don't the leaders enforce the law? Because they are too lazy and too busy thinking about how to make more money from corruption, that's why.
LOL ... dont be too INSENSTIVE . If you read closely the context , you'll get it . Are you an OFW Mr RASKI ? Just asking . ANyways ... I am not insulting but displaying the sad truth . Heard of POEA ? Desperate FIlipinos still smuggle themselves say in WARZONE NATIONS like Afghanistan and Iraq thinking of making ends meet because " ABROAD " kuno is not even LAUGHABLE anymore actually , its about an INSULT to the level of INTELLIGENCE !! When shit hits the fan , who do they call ? Who's money do you think will fly them back ? I know its not MANNY VILLARS . You still dont get it ? DOmestic helpers imprisoned in HK , raped in the Middle East , caned in Malaysia , hanged in SINgapore .... they are EXPLOITED ! If they only had EDUCATION , chances are dili sila mo " ABROAD " . If naa lang tarong na EDUCATION , matuman na and because we allow them to MANIPULATE our PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEMS mao kita naa sa masa ang napagan . Sa private sector its a different story , and you think the OPPOSITIONS are the saviours ? Labawng nakigbisog na sila kay gusto pod sila ang maka kwarta kay cge lang ang administrasyon .This is really the worse thing you have written EVER. How could you insult these people, by implying that you find even some of them laughable makes me think you are worse than an ingrate, as that is just an uncivilized thing to say. The best you can do about this is to simply not say anything further about the matter, though a simple apology and you taking back what you said would also suffice. That is just irresponsible and insensitive, and you should just stop and think about what you said for a MINUTE, even a SECOND so that maybe you will be ashamed that you said it in the first place!!
These are passing rates , on aPOSITIVE ATTITUDE which is really hard to achieve right now , why not focus on LEARNING instead of STUDYING just to PASS the NSAT ?While nobody can deny that the country has bad attitudes it has a lot to do with the decrepit state of our education system. Just imagine that recently, the government has reduced the passing rate from 75% to 66% for the NSAT. Instead of spending money to raise standards, our government is reducing our already low standards. What's next?

.. yeah, good point. Studying and learning are two different things. Way back in college, I was content to get a grade of 3.0 ( swu, that's passed, hehe ). Grades are just grades, what's important is what you've learned and applying it on the real world.
That sort of attitude would actually work if "the system" doesn't evaluate a potential employee based on the employee's grades. Some of you can easily say that because either you own your own business, or you are your own employer. However, to those who expect to find a job after graduating, in the real world, grades do count.
I myself didn't care what my grades would be like when I was in college. In fact I spent seven (7) years in college due to jumping from course to course, and/or failing in certain subjects. It was only later when I realized that, even though certain companies wanted to hire me based on my expertise and skills based on my own "learning", they still keep raising their eyebrows whenever they pick up my transcript of records and see the 3.0's and 5.0's (failing grade) I garnered while in college.
I've been fortunate enough to find jobs in which the employers don't really look at transcripts and such, but look at your own skills sets and experience, so it's never been an issue for me. It's now even much less of an issue for me, now that I'm co-running a business. However, there are people out there who are young, without much experience, and when they apply for a job, naturally, the only way for an employer to know if the kid is an okay performer is to check his or her eval sheet or TOR.

.. yeah. Reality hits you when you least expect. But as for my case, being an optometrist doesnt really rely on the "studying" part, but on your skills and how who handle your patients on a case to case basis. There are certain professions that also applies to this scenario, but there are also those that needs awe-inspiring grades for them to land a job.
.. but, the reality today is our college student's doesnt give a damn about their grades anymore, well, i'll just write here what a friend of mine said to me ...
DI NA NA IMPORTANT GRADO KARON, AS LONG PASAR OK NA NA, NAA BITAW DAGHAN CALL CENTER MUDAWAT BASTA MAKAHUMAN LANG KA UG 2ND COLLEGE
.. it's really sad hearing that, but it's so damn true. No offense to call center workers.
.. even in our college level, the education quality sucks.
@ RODSKY ....
Ok na unta if GRADES sa TOR ang tan-awon . SOme companies would require :
- HEIGHT
- AGE LIMIT
- PERSONALITY
- MARITAL STATUS
================================================== ==================
These are minimal factors not to land a job but its a sad fact na it existed which contributes UNEMPLOYMENT even though you excelled in school or learned enough . Example lang sa mga MEDREPS karon , if MAYA ka , dako kaayo ang chance na madawat ka because you are METROSEXUAL by nature and METROSEXUALS are really presentable to PHYSICIANS on top of the sales representing anc convincing powers . These are not discriminatory statements but SAD TRUTHS and yes these are in the PRIVATE SECTOR so in short walay labot gyud sad ang gobyerno ani . Attitudes ra gyud nato ang mo pa lambo nato if we cant rely the leadership of people .

Really? Why? The President of any country should wine and dine at an expense commensurate with the wealth of his or her country, because a poor country like ours needs leaders who are penny-pinchers. Even a country as rich as the U.S. raised hell when Bill Clinton spent $200 on a haircut.
Where did I get my basis for calling the Philippines dirt poor? Look around, for chrissakes, our country is dirt poor and any foreigner who steps foot in it will say it "what a dirt poor country run by idiots" Or how about the fact that a large percentage of our countrymen don't even eat 3x a day.
What's your basis for failing to see the obvious, that our country is dirt poor. Is this why you think it is OK for our President to dine in the most expensive restaurant in NY, because you actually believe we aren't dirt poor? ROFLMAO. You typify exactly the attitude that needs to be changed in Pinoys, that attitude that imagines one is richer than one actually is, leading to crass overspending.
I'll respond to the rest of the stuff you posted tomorrow, if I even bother, I've got to get going. But I will say though that I'm no OFW, I've mentioned many times before that I do business here, but unlike you I have been outside the country so I know exactly what the Philippines is, and it is not what you think it is, yes, it's DIRT POOR.
taas na gyud sila'g mga replies..........

Diha ka nasayop. What are your basis that PGMA dined and wined using government funds ? It has been stated already that someone paid for it and he is not even in the game . If indeed cover up to , you have no idea at all how to come up an evidence that PGMA paid for it and she used the peoples money . ANyways , the US raised hell when Bill Clinton spent $200 on a haircut ? Sure ka ? You are maybe referring to his CRITICS and please dont use inclined the country to represent the few .
That is your opinion and it is not a fact . SImple as that . Maybe taas ka ug standards lol .Where did I get my basis for calling the Philippines dirt poor? Look around, for chrissakes, our country is dirt poor and any foreigner who steps foot in it will say it "what a dirt poor country run by idiots" Or how about the fact that a large percentage of our countrymen don't even eat 3x a day.
- How many foreigner's said Philippines is a DIRT POOR COUNTRY RUNNED BY IDIOTS ?
- Where did you get your FACTS that a LARGE PERCENTAGE of Filipino's dont even eat 3X a day ? heck I eat only twice a day .
Wrong analogy . Heck I believed its not even part of her plan for the trip . She was invited as a guest . That is the obvious and its a fact dili niom madawat because you insisted that all reported was the opposite . You are only looking the small picture . Do you want to know the bigger picture ? Just say so .What's your basis for failing to see the obvious, that our country is dirt poor. Is this why you think it is OK for our President to dine in the most expensive restaurant in NY, because you actually believe we aren't dirt poor? ROFLMAO. You typify exactly the attitude that needs to be changed in Pinoys, that attitude that imagines one is richer than one actually is, leading to crass overspending .
Nobody is asking if you do business here , all I need was a YES or NO answer from you since you can relate to being an OFW . You being outside of the country has no relevance at all to know if its DIRT POOR or not .I'll respond to the rest of the stuff you posted tomorrow, if I even bother, I've got to get going. But I will say though that I'm no OFW, I've mentioned many times before that I do business here, but unlike you I have been outside the country so I know exactly what the Philippines is, and it is not what you think it is, yes, it's DIRT POOR.
