help in VB6

i made an application in vb6 on a XP SP3 OS, now the problem is i cant install it on a windows 2k or XP lesser than SP3...

mao ni mogawas na error, ako tried to restart but stil with d same problem...
any ideas how to make this install to a win2k OS?

bai ang problem ana kay kng unsay os imo gigamit pg program ana mao sad gamiton nga OS sa imo instalan nga computer kay ko imo na e install sa other Os like 2000 mangita ug mga link example .ocx or dll ba nya....kay nka suway nako ana sauno during may college time....kya before ka mobuhat ug program kinahanglan nga kng unsay OS jud ila gamit para compatible sya example kng ni gamit sila ug vista aw adto sad ka sa vista magbuhat ug program.....

ayaw pag buhat ug program sa 2000 adto sa windows xp pagbuhat kay ang 2000 dli na ka support ana mas maayo 98, kay mosuport. kong magbuhat ka ug program sa xp din sa xp sad nmo padaganon alangan man ko sa win 2000 nmo padaganon nya sa xp nmo gibuhat dli jud na mo run imo program....unsay Os imo gamit? kng xp diha ka magbuhat ug dha sad nmo ipa run....ka kuha ka?

Ang tawag ana... DLL HELL! Tingali 5 years ago, once had VB6 app compiled in an XP SP2 machine, won't run on XP without SP2. My solution was to update the client machine to SP2. But it ran okay in a Windows 2000 machine when I updated VB6 to SP5. More complications if you use 3rd party ActiveX products. Easiest solution will be to update the client machine with same SP your development machine is using. But there's always a danger of breaking other applications in the client machine that are incompatible with the patch or service pack you installed. Again, that's what you call -- DLL HELL! all u need to do is create an installer for all OS para wala labad ulo, then i update nalang ang exe file nya

i recompile na nimo bai with your vb project and try it compile with lower version of sp3. but dili jud na mg matter bai..mao ra na akong i recommend

thanks sa inyong mga inputs...na solve na nko..hehe....swerte kaau ky dual boot akong pc, naa ko win 2k..ako nalng ge recompile sa win2k...tsk..tsk..tsk...mkatagam jud ning vb dah...DLL HELL jud...
