The knowledge of the secrets of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. This is why I speak to them in parables, ‘Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand’” (Mat. 13:11,13).

There is inner knowledge and there is outer parables.

    Jesus Christ's Twin Brother

    The Gospel According to Matthew, the Tax Collector, Chapter 13:55;

it reads, "Is this not the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And his brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?"

What more can be said? Clearly Matthew tells us that Christ had at least 4 brothers. It is my personal belief that Christ had 4 brothers, and at least one sister named after their mother, Mary. Her full name was Mary Thomas. Yes, I believe that the surname Thomas, is the oldest surnames in Christianity. I am a firm believer that Joseph's last name was Thomas. But I'll save that for another day. But the bible clearly states that Jesus had brothers and sisters. So far, I've only been able to confirm 1 sister, even though Matthew 13:56 states "sisters" plural, meaning more than 1.

    Okay, Let's Begin.........!

    First:

    • It is of my own personal opinion that the Nativity story is only partial right.

    Second:

    • What if Joseph and Mary were already married?

Okay, here is what I think based off of my 2 personal probabilities listed above. I think Mary and Joseph were already married. Why? Because they were Jewish. They both would have stuck to the strict accordance to the Jewish religion. Not only that, but, because the Jews were God's sacred people. And most certainly, God would have followed his own written law. Name a time that he didn't? Certainly God already knew that there would be some rejection from his faithful people. I don't think God is the type of personality that would have put Mary in harms way, or made her go against everything she believed in. That sounds more like the work of the devil, than God. The bible also tells us that Jesus had many brothers and sisters. It is and was just peer speculation written by Christian leaders that maybe the other children were Joseph's children by his deceased wife. Or that Christ's brothers and sisters were born after Joseph and Mary got married. I can see were the early church doctrine writers, thought it would be easier to write in that Mary was a virgin, and hence divinely chosen by God. What they forgot to include in their made up story, was creating an accountability of Joseph or Christ's brothers and sisters and this "dead wife" of Joseph's. If you have ever read the Old testament, you will quickly discover that God was/is stickler about keeping family trees correct and general accountablity to details. Another area I think the men who created story didn't account for was, that the birth of Christ could have been Divine and Immaculate. The conception that God impregnated her is Divine in itself and Immaculate. Even if Mary wasn't a virgin, she was impregnated by GOD! Something else they didn't consider was God's intellect and overall foresight. If you look to the teachings of the Old Testament, you will find that there aren't many unanswerable questions.

Though this is still speculation, it is further been revealed by biblical scholars; that a sect of Jewish folk, who happened to be followers of Christ's teachings, under the strict supervision of Christ's brother James the Just, were one and the same group of people that provided us with the safely stored collection of the Dead Sea Scrolls! It is historical discoveries like this that should continually reminded us, that the doctrine of God's words is filled with human error and flawed. If it was James' people and Christ followers who stored the sacred text of the Dead Sea Scrolls for us, then why are so many Christians scared to the Gospel of Thomas, Philip or the Sophia of Jesus Christ. Because they talk about spiritual enlightenment? Because they contradicted the original order of the Roman ruler Constantine, who ordered that the Council of Nicaea to select texts where Christians had to go through a chain of command before they would be freed from sin. If anyone knows the history of the Lutheran Church, they know this but haven't put 2 and 2 together. This is not a well kept secret guys.

It is my belief, based off the biblical teachings of the bible, that the Heavenly Father would have been extremely picky about who he was going to entrust too care for his son, Jesus. Based off that, I believe that Joseph and Mary, were a well established, strong Jewish family. Now speculating here, that the angels did pay Mary a visit and pay Joseph one too, is here say. Do I believe they did? Sure I do. But I don't think there is any way of knowing what they heard or saw. But, yes I do believe that angels approached them to let them know what was going on; and that God had indeed chosen Mary to his son's birth mother. I believe that Mary and Joseph had many dreams of God and many different visit from his angels. You just don't drop a kid off into someone elses lap- without instructing that person in one way or another. So for me to believe that God was that shallow- I don't think so. So, yes I believe angels came to the couple many different times to them what God's wants and needs were for them and his son.
Another case in point, it makes so much more sense to believe that God told Mary and Joseph he needed them to make love, come together, be as husband and wife to bring forth a new life. It is further my belief, that during their coupling God planted his seed inside Mary's womb. But because he loved and cared for Mary, and knew the fate that Christ, Mary and Joseph were to endure, God allowed Mary and Joseph to conceive a child at that same exact moment of conception too. Now when you think about the many different types of twins births there are, isn't this a more realistic story than Mary being a "virgin" and so on? It was there in that moment of love, that Mary and Joseph and God conceived Jesus and Jude.
Now....., I'm not saying that Jesus and Jude were identical twins. I'm saying that they were twins. As with any twin, each one's life is completely different from the next. All twins, even Siamese twins have different personalities and goals. Is it [so] unthinkable to believe that God took care of two birds with one stone? When you really think about it- the best possible way for God to insure that his son, Jesus Christ would have half a chance- would to have made sure that he'd be surrounded by a large family and (the best defense weapon I can think of) a twin. It is scientifically proven and well known fact that twins are extremely protective and cognitively connected to their brother or sister. Remember too people that the Holy Bible, was written and put together by a select group of men. It's historical doctrine was surmised by a cruel Roman ruler, a council of a 150 men or so, the teaching Pope Clement the first and III. And much of the bible that we know, was doctrine set in motion by Martin Luther and King Henry the VIII. Many Christians, neglect to realize that the core doctrine of the King James Bible was Roman Catholic, and just a translation from Greek and Latin to the English language. They also neglect to realize that it was King Henry the VIII that added to the Commandments and Lord's Prayer. Christ never said, "Amen." Though we see it written everywhere in the bible. Amen is not Aramaic word. Christ spoke Aramaic. In one way or another, the entire force of Christianity has NOT been dictated by Christ himself, it has been dictated by mankind. If it had been dictated by Christ himself, we would have known a long time ago that Christ came from a loving, caring family and that Christ had a twin brother named Jude(Judas).

So what I'm after here is your interpretation of what you discovered on your own. Now please note- I'm not looking to change religion, I'm not even looking to change your beliefs. I don't even think I've stumbled onto something unique. It has all been right there for all of us to interrupt for ourselves. What I am hoping to do, is to help you think outside the box, as if you've never been to Church or Sunday school before. I want your true and deepest opinions.....

    Jesus' Missing Years

    By Gregory Koukl
    divider

Did Jesus study in India for the "missing" 18 years of His life and then bring back a message reflecting eastern religious thought?

    1. There is no historical information what-so-ever that places Jesus in India.
Most "documentation" comes from psychic messages (e.g. The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus Christ and the readings of Edgar Cayce) and they conflict with each other. The only evidence that even claims to be historical was supposedly viewed by Nicolas Notovich in 1887 in a monastery in Tibet. The alleged scrolls about the prophet Issa have never been produced and the monks who were supposed to have them denied any knowledge of either the scrolls or Notovich.

    2. The Gospels teach Jesus stayed in Israel.

    1. Our best historical accounts strongly imply that Jesus stayed with his family the entire time He grew up, as would be expected of a young Jewish lad.

Matt 2:23 "...and He came and resided in a city called Nazareth, that what was spoken through the prophets might be fulfilled, 'He shall be called a Nazarene.'"

Lk 2:51-52 "And He went down with them, and came to Nazareth; and He continued in subjection to them; and His mother treasured all these things in her heart. And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men."
    2. Both of these accounts are immediately followed by the account of John the Baptist, implying Jesus' baptism was the next significant event in Jesus' life. If Jesus had traveled to the East it would have been a critical theological event and would not have been left out of the historical record. Jesus' earlier trip to Egypt as an infant (Matt 2:13-15) was included.
    3. Other references tell us that the townspeople of Nazareth were taken aback at Jesus' wisdom as He preached. The implication is that He grew up in their midst as a normal Jewish boy. They were amazed at the Messianic emphasis of His ministry. This was an entirely new element.

Lk 4:22 ""And all were speaking well of Him, and wondering at the gracious words which were falling from His lips; and they were saying, 'Is this not Joseph's son?'"

Matt 13:54-56 (cf. Mk 6:3) "And coming to His home town [i.e. the place where He grew up] He began teaching them in their synagogue, so that they became astonished, and said, 'Where did ths man get this wisdom, and these miraculous powers? Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not His mother called Mary, and His brothers, James and Joseph and Simon and Judas? Where then did this man get all these things?'"

    3. The expense and distance make such a trip unlikely.
This kind of travel would have been extremely difficult for a youngster. The distances that had to be covered were incredible for anyone in that time, adult or child, given the methods of transportation. In addition, Jesus came from an extremely poor family who could not afford the incredible expenses a trip like that would incur.

    4. Gentile culture was repugnant to Jews.
At that time in history Jewish involvement with gentiles was strictly limited. Non-Jewish culture was repugnant to a Hebraic (as opposed to Hellenistic) Jew. Jesus would have little cultural tolerance for living in the midst of idol worshiping gentiles in India.

    5. Jesus taught Judaism, not Hinduism.
Theologically, Jesus' teaching was completely antithetical to the world view of eastern religions. His theology was thoroughly grounded on a Hebraic concept of God and reality. Jesus continued to refer to the Old Testament, indicating His respect for the Law and the prophets and the God of Israel. In fact, He kept the Law impeccably. He never quoted or even alluded to the Vedas.

    6. Conclusion:
Every shred of hard evidence we have places Jesus in the land of Israel for His entire life except the brief sojourn in Egypt (which the historical accounts are careful to note).

    ---
of course its always been the case to make up stories so people will believe you. You take the verse make a speculation.. walla new knowledge? wow, questions is your speculation TRUE?

--- taas kaau story brad pero puro ra yaw yaw gikan sa small verse... pointless.

For the benefit of everyone. The verse is the story when Christ returned to his hometown. Take note that during BAPTISM with John the Baptist, he started his ministry and of course Christ left home.

When he returned home, people ask him "kinsa man ni tawhana na ni Brayt man og naa pay mga milagro d ba anak mani cya sa carpentero? kaila man gani ta sa iyang mga igsoon."

    CONCLUSION:
    1. Bsan pakita pa si KRISTO sa inyo atubangan karon brad kay lage d ka mo 2o, its the same question you are going to ask.

    2. It is always been the case that we become skeptics to things that is hard to believe, but if you kept on denying then you become arrogant... or what we call a willingly ignorant person.

    3. Because Scripture is so OPEN people make up stories.. thats why MUSLIMS make thier own stories... But never thier belief contend to a FACT. KORAN always fail. That is why KORAN is no OPEN book to study. Latos ka bsta istorya ka og ALLAH. ALAAIY kasakit.

Sa nag posts ani... obtuse kaau taas kaau explanation sa story, gi twist para mahimo naay twin... pero the topic is not about family... its about Christ returning to his hometown...

    Matthew 13:55-57 (King James Version)
And when He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, "Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works? "Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?" So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house." Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

these verses tells that the people inside the synagogue knew about Jesus, they knew about his family and his way of living(incase u dont know->if u r d first born or the eldest of the family during that time, u r likely to carry out ur fathers occupation, which was joseph the carpenter) before he begun doing his main purpose or duties to his Father which is GOD the Father.
they knew about Jesus of how he lived as a capenter, there could be no possibility that he was out of site. coz the pipol in the synagogue can tell how surpriced they were for a carpenter to know things.
i hope u understand the logic.

What I am hoping to do, is to help you think outside the box, as if you've never been to Church or Sunday school before. I want your true and deepest opinions.....

    Have a good day..
don't make your own stories bro. u'r inducing different points to one idea, ur not sticking to the topic. give us at least other verses that supports your idea of Jesus having a twin.

    Jesus' Missing Years

    By Gregory Koukl

    1. There is an ancient scroll that places Jesus in India.

    2. How could it be a critical theological event, the disciples never recorded it in the first place? and you think the Jews would include it in their scripture?

    3. that's their interpretation. Never in that verse had any implication that Jesus at that time had grown up.

    4. No its not, there are stories of true mystics in search of truth went fasting just to reach their goal even if it means traveling a hundred miles.

    5. okay good, Jesus taught Judaism and not Hinduism and not even Christianity. Mysticism does not require you to abandon your religion. It only teaches you to enhance your knowledge of your religion.

    6. conclusion. his version is obviously one sided. and i would say, stands on weak grounds.

"Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? And His sisters, are they not all with us? Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

these verses tells that the people inside the synagogue knew about Jesus, they knew about his family and his way of living(incase u dont know->if u r d first born or the eldest of the family during that time, u r likely to carry out ur fathers occupation, which was joseph the carpenter) before he begun doing his main purpose or duties to his Father which is GOD the Father.
they knew about Jesus of how he lived as a capenter, there could be no possibility that he was out of site. coz the pipol in the synagogue can tell how surpriced they were for a carpenter to know things.
i hope u understand the logic.

this is more like an assumption no solid textual evidence whatsoever.
