No, not at all .. because there are people who are not well informed in science, and yet, they have a profound faith in the realities they believe in .. others are well informed in scientific research, and yet they found no reason at all to believe in a spiritual reality .. but, there are people I know, who are well-informed, PhD in the sciences, and yet, believe in God and patterned their lives according to their faith ..
pataya sa brain trip! GG!
"But religion needs people's faith to survive... "
--- does it mean science dont need faith?
--- science believes "ITS REALLY OUT THERE" isn't this faith? this is how theory started by FAITH then prove it to become TRUE.
Scientist dont have faith? hmmm klaroha kuno.
Faith = could have failure.
Determined = could have failure. (German Scientist were so determined to create an atomic bomb. But they Fail!)
so whats the difference?

nka g kos pasabot ni tripwire ani..yeah she's right..sadly na misinterpret lang ang iyang point.
bacn ang pagsabot ni kebot sa faith para sa science is parehas pd sa faith nga gihatag sa mga tao sa ilang religion..but in my opinion lahi man nga faith ang gi point out ni tripwire..haha!! na misinterpret diay ni kebot..well i'll leave this to ms. tripwire to clear it up if she decides to actually waste her time on this..hahaha!

tripwire's post is really straightforward. too sad that some people (sa ma igo lang) can't seem to comprehend a simple post/logic. Religion, in its very core, can't survive on its own. Religion stands on the grounds of faith; without faith, there is no religion. simple. science, on the other hand, doesn't need faith. there are different definitions of faith but i believe that the faith we're talking about pertains to that of a religious perspective. science needs evidence and theories to survive. although that doesn't mean one can't compromise with the other.
