i guess you're right, sir. i've reflected on your answer and it seemed to have a point.

its just something in religion that they hate it so much everytime a scientist discover fact like darwins evolution that it really takes more than a century to accept it.

on the otherhand science, accept the fact wholeheartedly that they were wrong all their life believing on something that was just recently proven wrong.

this alone makes religion inconsistent and bias.

i just think religion as an institute are showing how obsolute they are.

in my little knowledge, I think religion and science can live side by side and even need each other: science at the service of the ultimate truths, and not just the empirical realms; religion should not be afraid of the scientific probes and questions regarding the ultimate realities.

would you say the exclusivity to one downgrades the essence of being human?

There is a fine line between science and religion. Although religion is 60% [just statistical values and no actual thesis of this but assumptions alone] that admits science has something to offer for their needs... although they used science to proved their point. Science in the same thought, they don't "need" religion to acknowledge their discoveries, inventions, projects, and so on because science can and will live on its own. But religion needs people's faith to survive... and without faith, there is no religion.

There might be a possibility that they work hand in hand but it's hard to pin point the exact need for both to compensate. Let's take the example here in istorya.net. Fanatics and die-hard science experts have no common ground to begin with. as for me, I'll take both and if one starts to spoil the other... it's my decision where I/to put myself on.
