The book of John as scholars would argue is not part of the synoptic gospel because there are pronouncements made by Jesus that is not found in the other three gospels.
Other Gnostic schools would consider this book part of the Gnostic Gospel.

i don't really know much about gnosticism. pero i like this statement very much:
