Any ideas about USB Port trouble shooting?

My USB port doesn't detect anything. from USB flash drives to iPod and other handheld devices with usb connections.. Everytime I plug, USB drives or mp3 players, etc. It has an exclamation on the device, everytime I open the device manager.. I tried re-installing the USB port but its still the same.

If you guys have guidelines or you know how to troubleshoot this problem, please share.. Thanks

Ok! asa na part sa group of USB front panel or backpanel nga naa sa luyo sa CPU or rare USB?

If sa atubangan or frontpanel sa casing nimo gi paslak then mag error meaning wa na ma tarong ug taud ang imong connectors from casing to mobo usb connectors. Naa mangud square type nga connectors nga usb sa uban casing w/c is very easy to plug sa mobo naa pud nga six pcs slots imo na i connect tagsa tagsa sa mobo ug taud w/c is very hard to connect.

Salamat kaau bro.. uhmmm.. both front and back panels.. So, I need to open my pc and check if somethin is disconnected?

If it is a new unit, chances are it is incorrectly configured as yugi said. I will assume that the USB port was working perfectly before, and you already tried removing and reinstalling usb controllers. I have this problem once, when junk food particles got stuck inside a port, causing it to malfunction. Try using a cotton swab (unused!) to clean it out.

@ethzneuron: USB Driver? wala namay usb driver bro maski sa usb 1.0 heheh... no need nana since the bios would update the hardware drivers di nana problema pa.

@yugi, what do you do kung mag-question mark sa device manager ang usb.. diba mag-reinstall ka sa mobo driver? sakto bah? naglibog sad gani ko, la naman gud ko praktis ayo-ayo. ^__^

@ethzneuron USB at ? kasagaran mao ni error. "to connect the high speed USB ports you must to connect this to blah blah" mao na pero ? usually driver bro its either manual or live installation.
