    lupad? hehe

    but that was OBE.

I also have wonderful experiences about vivid dream state. Some say this is astral travel while sleeping.

my first experience was scary because it was so real. I felt that some forces are taking me to a different region. In my 3rd experience I learn not to get scared by suggesting to my mind to relax and again here thought is the way to control yourself. during this time I was able to control my dream. di ba sa ordinary dream state dili ikaw ang ga control, images and events controls you. but this one nga akong na experience was, ako ang ga control sa akong dream.

in OBE sir, you can also fly

ako naobserved sa normal dreams ba, that now that i'm observing myself sa waking state, sa dream state, mas detached ko sa mga main characters sa dream when before i see myself as the main character/s. i think that the idea that our egos are the characters populating our dreams is true. but when you can observe the egos in the waking state, you feel less attachment to them in the dream state...sounds kinda labad no? hehehe

When one had understanding, one should laugh; One should not weep. "
    -- Hsüeh-T'ou

Two Zen monks were walking down the road.

First monk says: "These pine trees are magnificent."

The second monk slaps him across the face.

First monk: "Why did you do that?"

"I'm a Zen monk so I can get away with all kinds of weird stuff like that."

    LOL!!!!

Po, according to theosophy the mind is just the instrument of the soul, the soul is "the boss", the physical body, emotion including the mind are his(soul) servants kumbaga

Well maybe they don't give sermon to satisfy minds, but to tend souls.

As for me, we are here to express or slowly unfold our soul power & it uses mind as its "agent" to transact business in the phenomenal world,,,& maybe when the mind is so train to synthesize its observation in an objective manner (w/c may take a hundred of lifetimes) then the soul can w/ ease expresses itself thru the mind.

On the other hand if a particular priest is so poor w/ the way he presents his ideas or the ideas itself is no longer palatable to the parishioner, then its but natural that the mind rejects it.
It doesnt usually follow that its for the soul,,,there are just teachings in the church that is really ridiculous. Not all by the way
