If you look back at history, why do you think religion was very successful in coercing their belief systems to the general public? I believe it was the lack of access to information. As we all know the state before was largely influenced by religious institutions. They are mostly responsible for the education of young minds. Therefore they had a monopoly of information, they give the general public a value system that would perpetuate their power. In other words, a very efficient brainwashing propaganda campaign.

But today, we live in the "information age". Information is literally right at your fingertips thanks to the internet. You now have the choice to explore different points of view unlike before.

So what's missing with the INTERNET? hehehe! you must be dreaming. Internet spreads information not taught you how to feel. Brad pa tortillas ko ako itlog if you have given you charity to the internet.... point brad Religion is the vessel for compassion, charity, morality and... almost everything that involves emotion. If you are after of knowledge then internet serves you right. But if you make it as a substitute of becoming a human being gud luck brad...

in some ways you are correct pero i think i have to agree with mr. child here..sakto information at your fingertips pero you really can't verify the truthfulness sa internet..although not all info sa net are incorrect but in my opinion most of them are erroneous..correct ghapon pero naa lang gamay na detail ang sayop or missing and usahay ang mga crucial pa na info ang lacking or erroneous..in some ways i also agree with you when you say.."YOU NOW HAVE THE CHANCE TO EXPLORE DIFFERENT POINTS OF VIEW.."wary lang ta sa veracity sa mga different points of view..para..as mr. child puts it dli mahimong zombie..
