D'Uh. A third-world country citizen belittling another 3rd world country just so he would feel a little better about himself. Not worthy of my scorn.
Sad to say though that his views are not entirely at fault. Only when i left the Phils did i see our country as the world sees it - a puny third-world country whose beset by social, economic, & political immaturity.
The noisy mob in Manila shout for democracy, yet they are unwittingly pushing us to mobocracy and anarchy. I might be inviting some flames --- but if you look at the rest of the world, open your eyes and you will realize how truly free we are (free to screw ourselves, that is!). Unfortunately the world only sees the never-ending rallies in Manila, and the shameful Abu-Sayyaf in Mindanao (thanks in part to our media).
If ever the Federal-parliamentary system will push through, we will finally have this chance of promoting an alternate image of the Philippines - a peaceful, progressive, and beautiful Cebu
