you are right there vampyr. it is not just our fault but it's everybody's' fault. you wanna know why? first, how do these politicos win an election? by spending millions and millions of money. why? cause peoples votes are for sale, and mostly the poor peoples votes, which comprises of almost half of the voting population. so who suffers when these vote buying politicos win and become corrupt? the poor people!! second, these politicos doesn't spend all their money to win an election cause that is plain suicide. so what they do is they solicit financial support from wealthy people, but wait, you don't give millions of pesos for nothing...no! no! no! wealthy people are businessmen, they have to get it back with interest, right?! how? here's how? once a politico wins an election these people who "supported" him/her are either appointed in a certain position in some gov't agency or will be given special treatment on gov't deals or will ask protection from any of their illegal activities. election is like gambling. if you win everybody is happy, when you lose well, better luck next time or you can always join the opposition so you still can benefit from them opposition leaders who are in position. well, it sucks really, cause if the people wont sell their votes and give support without asking anything in return except for good and fair service, maybe, just maybe, these politicos will be afraid of us rather then we be afraid of them. cause they owe us their win and we believed in them, as to who they are and what they stand for. that's why we should all be vigilant and stop corruption from the very beginning of its form, which is during election time.

IT'S TIME TO MAKE A STAND AND TAKING REAL ACTION FOR THE CAUSES WE BELIEVE IN. Causes that you yourself can truly pursue to make a real, positive difference to your fellow countryman, to your country.

It is for you who still dare to hope that life for millions doesn’t have to be a hopeless battle against problems like poverty, illiteracy, unemployment.

It is for you who believe that not enough is being done about our country’s problems. And that to do right things, you’ll do them yourself.

It’s about action that eradicates hopelessness in every Filipino.
