Moderating the Moderators

is there a way nga ma moderate sad ang moderators? kay ako amigo naay "personal alitan" sa usa ka moderator gi ban siya. eventhough wala sa forum rules nga kung naay personal alitan, i-ban. and worst of all, ni question ang usa ka amiga nganong gi ban ang iya friend. nitubag ang moderator, democracy is not practiced here, go away! and then gi ban sad. so 2 na ka friends gi ban. ing ani diay ni ka uneducated some of our moderators? just asking. i hope dili i-ban ang mangutana.

I'm sure they have an internal process for watching the watchers. PM senior moderators or site admins if you have something to report about.

on topic, i agree with poldo---report the moderators to either the SENIOR MODERATORS or the ADMINS, ug sila ray bahala nila.

Here's the thing.... The person I moderated reacted in a disrespectful manner. This was his response after being moderated.

"as if dili sad ka badlongonon. ka arrogant nimo nga pagkatao. kaila ko nimo gogs!"
The user was WALRUS

Now, after muting him... his "friend" reacted and sent me this love letter.

"see kung unsa gyud ka nga klase nga pagkatao. kay imo dayon gi ban si Walrus. labaw pa man sa Martial Law. I hope ang mga Moderators i-apply sad ang democracy nga fight ni Cory. just because ni comment siya against nimo in PRIVATE, ban dayon. magpakalalaki ka!

You say nga dili ko educated?? Tan-awa inyong reaction. Gi moderate lang kay ni cross sa gi set nga rules unya ingon ana mo mo-react? YOU ARE IN NO POSITION TO ACCUSE ME OF BEING UNEDUCATED.


Now.. CHERIE got banned because he/she is a repeat offender. He got previously banned tungod nga ni disrespect sab siya ug lain nga moderator. Repeat offenders get a more "focused" treatment.

(Ikaw sab DEEP BLUE, you have received infractions in the past. Please don't come forward and act clean. )

Thing is.. some people complain when they receive an infraction. They whine about injustice and point their fingers at the moderators. They forget the fact
that they're the ones who committed an infraction in the first place.

The answer to the question ... who watches the watchmen? ... is NOT YOU. Trying to teach any of the moderators how to do their jobs is NOT YOUR JOB. So don't do it. There are admins and senior moderators. The very fact that you even have to ask this question means you DID NOT read the FAQ. When you start off on the wrong foot, how am I or any admin/senior moderator supposed to listen to you?

Just to add up to what vern said. No matter how right you may be, if it is up against a moderator in the public stage, you will always be wrong. We will always take the side of the moderating team.

Do it the right way if you want to advance your argument.
