more or so the same, just a bit complicated. since we're dealing with human waste here, the pathological level is at top level.

for hydroponics, you can do your own mix. or better yet buy the pre-mixed version off the home and garden section at your favorite home depots...

All you need to do is drain off the methane gas built-up on top of the sludge, and slurry off the water around the sludge before draining to create a healthy environment for the bacteria to grow, thus giving more methane. And not to mention increasing the pressure inside the septic tank just a wee bit.

Lterally a "shitfull of gas", i might say. But it's free, renewable energy..
I hope they develop it in here... free methane on the house.. ayaw lang sa squatters area.

Its called an anearobic waste water treatment facility. To create methane, waste water is treated by anearobic bacteria which thrives on enviroments without the presence of air/oxygen.

We use such a facility on our farm on the province. Its a good thing to do, 1st you are complying with environmental laws, second you get free methane.

    Simple term would be "BIO-DIGESTER"...

Yeah. BIO-DIGESTER is simpler. But its kinda vague, since there are two ways to digest/treat waste water. One is through an anaerobic process which produces methane and the second will be the aerobic process, which does not produce any, like the one used in treating waste water from the Ayala Mall and Cebu Business Park. In both processes the step where bacteria breaks down the waste can be called biodigestion or the vessel where it occurs be called biodigester.
