God bless the unbelievers here on earth,,,buit will be punished in the after life?
And god does not bless so much the believers but will fully bless in heaven nalang?
How He distributes His blessings, we do not know. But we are certain that He is not ignoring everyone even those who do not believe in him and most especially those who believe so much in Him.
Agnostics and atheists that are materialy rich does not necessarily mean that God is giving them those blessings and expect something from them, it could be due to the fact that they are hardworking people and are inately good people, God still bless them regardless of how they relate to Him, for He understands.
And theist who are not so blessed materially does not also necessarily mean that God has abandoned them. God is a mystery to us.

ive been keeping tabs on this thread and its a very interesting read. from another person's perspective, you guys are actually arguing over the technicalities of faith and prayers. what more, you all seem so eager to negate each other's statements. instead of a healthy discussion, it has become a series personal attacks. we all have different views in life and we all have the right to religion, or the absence thereof.

i think we're better off respecting each other's views and principles. the more you insist on a point to someone who has an entirely different perspective from yours...its more likely that your message will get lost in translation.

this is supposedly a discussion, not evangelization or desensizitation.
mao jud ma'am sakto jud ka.

Additional question- What can you say about repetitive prayers?
im not sure if nyour verses answer my question
--- then its not my burden to convince you. Its lies with your friends and family... i got plenty of my own. So for you believing or not doesn't mean much to me....

--- its he who judge not me. He blesses you so you might think about the lord.

    repetitive prayers?
--- "I will not stop until you bless me"
    --- Jacob

prayers with no work is futile. its just like when during exams that you pray so hard to pass but didnt study. you cant expect for answers to just pop up from out of nowhere. instead, you pray for grace so that you can understand your lessons while you're studying. when you're sick, you dont just sit and pray for a miracle to happen when you dont even drink your medicines or go see a doctor. Doctors exist because He gave them the talent to heal people who are sick - its His provision.

its like the story about a guy who a survived a ship wreck. he was floating in the ocean for days. He is a man of faith so he kept on praying for help. a boat passed by and the boatman helped him out of the water. He refused saying, I am a man of faith and i believe that He will save me. So the boatman sailed along. the man prayed and prayed again.the next day, a fisherman passed by and helped him but he also dismissed him saying "i am a man of faith, and i believe He will save me". the fisherman insisted but the stubborn man declined. the night grew and there was a storm. Finally, the man drowned. When he met up with God in heaven, he was furious at him. He lashed out and said "why did you not save me? i have been faithful to you all my life. i go to church every sunday and i always pray just like what you said." and then God answered him, "I sent you two boats but you refuse to accept my help."

prayers alone will not save us. it is very important to pray, but we also have to help ourselves. sabi nga, nasa diyos ang awa nasa tao ang gawa.
tell that one to the one banking on a 1%.
he's waiting for something to happen than making things happen.

prayers with no work is futile
if those peeps did DO something aside from praying...they wouldn't need to bury their loved ones. reflect on what happened in wisconsin death trip...how would the parents respond to such consequence? do they blame themselves? their god? science? for what happened to them.

*IMO, your prayer is like a "chaser" to a blissfully satisfying "AMATZ"....pointless mag laklak ng chaser lang.lolz

so, who needs to pray if you don't get anything without helping yourself? right sir?
