Can the wifi be accessed everywhere? Including inside coffee shops and restaurants?

Yup you will just see the coffee shops wifi network as an option to connect to aside from the SM wifi. But if you are out of the coffee shop's wifi range then the its wifi network will no longer be available for you to connect.
