LDRs suck. I've been in three (I never learn). My last one (with a guy from the Philippines) lasted over 3 years...or so I thought. It turned out that my ex had found someone else and did not have the decency to fess up. They can tell u that nothing's going on and because u love them so much you trust them.
LDRs are hard and having been three already I don't see any point in being in a relationship if u can't actually physically be with someone. All my time and effort wasted. But it could have been just my bad luck.
My current bf lives in the same city (thank God) and I miss him as if he lived on the other side of the world. But I realise just how much nicer it is to be able to be with him, talk to him face to face, hold him, etc.....Plus, no racking up 100s of dollars worth of phone bills!
So if ur considering a LDR then u really gotta ask urself if ur willing to make sacrifices, whether u can really trust (or be trusted).

Relationships fail all the time, LDR or not....but sometimes love triumphs through the barriers that stand in the way...be it time or distance, or anything for that matter...relationships work only when there is real love, & they fail when there is not enough, or none at all...love can be one helluva crazy game, yet when it's the right one it can be heaven here on earth...there really is no sure fire formula to make love work & last...& though we say 'all is fair in love', there really ain't no promises...being a victim of a failed relationship, one can't help but feel numb & disillussioned...especially if one went through 2 or 3 or 4 painful breakups...but instead of closing our horizons to possibilities because we fear of falling down again, we should keep our doors open, for when true love comes & they're closed, it may never come again...
Kinsay gahan og Long distance relationship? og ngano man
long distance or not...
still, the distance is not an assurance that your relationship will work...
constant communication, trust and respect are the most essential things that in a relationship for it to work. ^__^
