i always update my bios whenever there is a new version in my mobo site specifically in my mobo model..because it has updates and fixes and will add also supported hardware (i.e. processor)..and i do it in windows mode in my desktop, it only takes around 10seconds or less..w/out using back-up power like UPS, im just using AVR hehehe..i know it's risky but that 10seconds is worth the try..and my mobo also support bios recovery in case power interruption occurs..
Ganahan ko makahibalo sir kay mura mag update ko og 8 mobo nga asus p5pe-vm.
hahay, nag offer na unta ko ug EZ-Flash pero wa man nanumbaling...basin dili kamao mugamit ang mga tawo. no need to use floppy with EZ-Flash. as easy Alt + F2 on POST.
download the ROM file, save it to your flash drive. if you're filesystem is FAT32, you can save it in your hard drive. Then restart the computer, Alt + F2, then locate ang ROM file sa flash drive or sa hard drive kung naka FAT32 imong filesystem.
what makes updating the BIOS through the floppy dangerous is that floppy diskettes fail easily. Flashing from within Windows also has risks specially if unstable imong system. ma corrupt imong BIOS if the system restarts while flashing.
yup sayon ra ang EZ-Flash sa asus..download lng daan kato flash rom sa site dn i browse lng..
