how bout you read the manual first? this is the feature that might come in handy:

    - EZ Flash
With EZ Flash, you can update BIOS before entering operating system. No more DOS-based flash utility and bootable disks are required.

i was wondering y you need to update you bios bro? if naglisod ka y dont you use the on the os flash based software instead.. i know asus have that one na... if you wanted na 100% safe you have to use the old fashion way which is in DOS paired with a bootable flash drive..

well updating the bios is a crucial thing, so better review everything needed to be done, or you may end up with dead mobo < worse case scenario >. You may consider to let it be. Remember the rule of the thumb for computers "If it ain't broke, don't fix it ".
