one of the coolest band ever step on this planet...sadly,they're not together anymore but stephen malkmus still continue with his brilliant musicianship with his new outfit called The Jicks together with janet weis of sleater kinney famed..and mark ibold is now with sonic youth...the album "slanted and enchanted" is the best for me...long live Pavement fans!

My fave Pavement song is GOLD SOUNDZ... one of my fave bands during the 90's.. their Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain and Slanted and Enchanted albums never leave my car.

@sonikfish ... nice to know your a Pavement fan too.
first time i heard Pavement music was when i was in highschool. cassette tape pa nga kinopya he he.. that was the Crooked Rain album. since then i was hooked.. i even ordered all of thier albums in US coz only 2 albums were released here in PH and limited supply only.

i never owned any of their albums pero naa koy ubay2x nga tracks ani nila. mga kinopya sa cassete.. i like carrot rope og stereo....
murag ga reunion mani sila pag 2005 or 2004.. d ko sure sa year...pero mura ga reunion ni sila.. nabasahan to nako sa Alternative Press before..

wa ko ka blita anang giingon na reunion..pero si Stephen Malkmus sa mga set sa The Jicks mukanta sya panagsa ug old pavement stuff like "silence kit"...the best gyud ang Pavement pwede ka mag slam,mosh,headbang,ballroom dancing or bisag unsa nga ka flipan while listening..."Terror Twilight" ra gyud ang wala nako..

nel primerose is the source before for hard to find tapes way back college years... hehehe
