just an unsollicited advice: you can always approach any of your RC priests to clarify your confusions sis ... am a catholic, I asked the help of the prayers of Mama Mary and the good christians who lived authentic christian lives while they were still alive, and are now saints as we call them .. but I worship only GOD: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit ... if to stop before the statue of Mama Mary or any saints is "idol worship" for you, though you are a catholic, then i think you are just confused. Please buy the magazine: "the truth shall set you free" at national bookstore, catholic trade or st Paul's, it is a great help and easy reading too ... I read it always ... or go to the Patria de Cebu and ask for any "catholic defender" to explain to you that which regards our catholic faith ... mind you, you are not far from the kingdom of heaven, as Jesus said.

been there than that, as i said- i was bathed as a catholic, so i know yung mga borloloy na ginagawa ng simbahan to make it appear authentic,

like i said pwede ka muampo(pray) bro but not the act of worshiping.. any acts of communication to the unseen devine or not, holy or not is a form of prayer..

yes because the bible has so many things to be understood that not just a verse can explain all things.. thats how RC study the bible not just by verse but we make sure those verses are not contradicting itself with the other verses..

If there shall be an angel speaking for him, one among thousands, to declare man's uprightness, He shall have mercy on him, and shall say: Deliver him, that he may not go down to corruption: I have found wherein I may be merciful to him. He shall pray to God, and he will be gracious to him: and he shall see his face with joy, and he will render to man his justice.

this verses clearly states that a holy identity is capable to plead for a sinner..

so take the Eliphaz and Jobs case and apply unto this..
