thinking inside the box. the tired middle class filipino who cannot seem to differentiate this problem's personality and social structure aspects.
the sad thing is that he can never seem to escape from this spell of unconciously defining his own interest according to his leaders' own, seeing things through personalities, and always settling for second best.
and he says that he is tired.
what a grand but sad irony.

at least...that's the sentiments of the many...not with those few who rally in the streets who are holding false pretenses...
i totally agree... a lot of people should read this...
i read this too. it makes a lot of sense to me.
ah tita cory kong.este cory, could you please give us a break and stop pretending that you are always praying for the welfare of country, when in fact your only concern is the hacienda luisita...and also if wanted to pray the rosary, would you mind do it inside the church instead of brandishing it in Edsa memorial or perhaps inside Fort Bonifacio..people already notice hypocrisy inside that yellow apparel. But the simple truth that you try to obfuscate is this: you have not
been able to offer me any viable alternative! On the other hand, GMA has bent
over backwards many times to accommodate you while continuing to work
hard despite all the obstacles and the brickbats you have thrown her way.
From where I sit, she is the one who has been working really hard to move
this country forward while all of you have been so busy with one and only one
thing: to make sure she does not succeed.![]()
Great! Exacto!
Reading all the replies posted regarding your open letter it seems everybody agrees with your observation why the people are not responding on the repeated attempts of the communists, self-serving politicians, and others with multi-causes (except a sincere desire to help our country go forward) for support from the rest of us.
There should be a way to let them see the "writing on the wall" the people are not coming out precisely because they can deduce beyond the slogans they shout, they can see the real motives of the groups, they do not feel the sincerity of the leaders. Sana kahit sandali man lang matuto silang makinig sa tunay na damdamin ng mga nakakaraming Pilipino na ang tanging pangarap ay mahinto na ang lahat ng kaguluhan sa ating bansa...
