I would like to share something from SGI's 2nd president Josei Toda, that may somehow change our attitude of pointing someone...here you go:

Inner Change in a Single Person
There have been a number of different revolutions in recent centuries: political, economic, industrial, scientific, etc. Toda's view was that, regardless of how external factors are changed, society will not fundamentally improve as long as people--the foundation of everything--fail to transform the inherent negative and destructive tendencies of their own lives.

An inner change for the better in a single person is the essential first turn of the wheel in the process of making the human race stronger and wiser. Human revolution is the most fundamental and most vital of all revolutions. This revolution--an inner process of self-reformation--is completely bloodless and peaceful.


Process of Growth and Self-Realization
Every single person has tremendous potential which is largely untapped. Through one's human revolution, this potential can be revealed and we can establish an independent, unconquerable self; enabling one to deal creatively with any situation that life has to offer. This process enables one to keep growing and developing indefinitely.

as much as i/we would like change, there are still other people who doesn't want change because of some personal/political agendas..take for example the opposition, they keep on pestering the current administration because they want their leader vindicated and be reinstalled to power..see what i mean?

Yes, I get what you mean...But we don't have any power to change them, we could not control them. The only person we can control is ourself...Better start from ourselves. And be hopeful that someday, they will see us shining, and will eventually cooperate with us...

your hopes will just lead to vain..we can't change the mindset of our current politicians no matter how you pray for it..what we should look forward to are the future leaders of our country, we should mold our children today such that they will be a good citizen and a good leader someday.

Yes, I agree that right education for our young generation is a neccessity if we are to ensure the peace of our land. If change would be not possible to our current leaders, still, it is vital to start the change from ourselves, it's better than not. Though, I am still hopeful.

Just a friendly reminder also that what we are writing in this thread would merely be a theory unless we will put it into practice. Let us all start to put it into action! And let us all continue to impart things that we think is helpful to all humanity, do not keep it to yourself, helping others is helping yourself too, and be open for any suggestions for continuous improvement.

It really boils down to your compassion, it is very important to consider your approach that would not lead to another conflict. It would be better if your not that good at dialogue to just tell it to the authority, i.e. your purok pres., etc.
