Naa man siguroy illegal rally...Di ba naay designated places para mag rally? Tapos ang mayor mo issue ug permit sa rally...kung dili mo sugot ang mayor din illegal ang rally....

actually FK, it is the prerogative of the president to declare a state of emergency.
Petitions were filed to question the legality of the proclamation, But it is only the Supreme court that can decide..Give me an article of the law that makes you think that the EO 1017 is illigitimate?

i have heard so many complains, criticisms, scrutiny, etc thru what they called concern citizens in the country...But what does this kind of citizens contribute to the progress of the country?

i'd rather go for a progressive dictatorship than a failing democracy...

ANY dictatorship run by human beings is far, far worse than failing democracies. At least democracies have the mecahnisms that can be used to correct failings, if possible. Dictatorships, on the other hand, are deisgned to keep the ruling elite in power and benefit themselves. Power corrupts, Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
