I've Got my new 500d.

ako ky 2nd hand na 350d dslr..... pero it is still good and quite sharp.....

Canon EOS 300D... the great grandmother of all Digital Rebels

pros

• probably the first affordable dSLR
• a move up from my Sony Cybershot DSC-F717
  
  • no longer had to deal with shutterlag
  • no longer limited by a fix 38-190mm lens
  • no longer limited to max aperture of f8
  • finally have Bulb setting!
  • cleaner pics at iso 400 and usable still at iso 800
• 6 megapixels was considered big in those days
• simple IR wireless remote
• uses the same battery with 20D, 30D, 40D, etc..
• hackable firmware... all hail the WASIA crack!!!

cons

• 4 frame shot buffer that took forever to clear and that was with jpg!!!
• plastic body (the F717 was magnesium alloy and durable)
• AF assist was a rude pop-up flash (F717 had a cool laser pattern)
• no built-in PC-sync socket
